ATTN: It's not a faith school. It's a great public school. My daughter, who's in reception, loves it and really admires the teachers and the staff. Moved to the area just before term 1 started, and they were very helpful, offering her a place in a flash. I'm always kept in the loop with regular Tapestry updates. They have all sorts of interesting activities every week, and they're brilliant at motivating my daughter to learn and read by herself every day. Not sure why it was only rated 'good' last time, because it's an excellent school, far better compared to some 'outstanding' ones I visited where we lived previously. To (foreign) newcomers I have to say: this is not a faith school, despite the name and the logo, there's a large ratio of non-native and very bright children, and the teachers are brilliant here. The only let-down -and this applies to all schools in the country - is the bland food. Still, I have to say, my finicky daughter does eat some of it, she says, and that's an improvement, because she never used to eat at nursery. Also, I understand they're switching to a new catering company.
