A pay and display car park. With toilets for all including disabled. The car park has plenty of spaces but gets busy in summer so be prepared for this. Other parking in the area is scarce. The car park is right on the beach, the beach is stony but is a lovely relaxing place. There is a shack that sells food and drinks. From this car park you can walk along the lee on solent sea front were more food is available. Or walk in the other direction along the sea front to the Osborne view pub. Either way it's a great location to go. Beware in stormy weather the stones can move. See here after the 65mph winds of February 2021. You can see the stones have moved onto the car park
Even though the car park has been reduced in size due to the cross channel power cable work being carried out, it is never full. There are toilets at one end of the car park and the Shack eating facility at the other end. The beach is adjacent to the car park and consist mainly of shingle with a small amount of sand.
Absolutely beautiful place, has a little food shack where you can get hot food, cake , drinks etc at great prices. Parking is £1 per hour. Card or cash. Toilets and a lovely beach for fossil hunting.
Spend 3rd of my life here Lovely place Lovely place to park for walks n beach Getting 1 star as they introduced charges 10 to 6pm and now i here they are extending it from 8am to 7pm! You're meant to encourage being outside and wellbeing stop trying to claw back more money....how about charge for van overnight sleeping and you'd make your money back!
Great location! We went in december with the free parking and met up with a group of other dog walkers and walked along the sea front! Easy to find and plenty of spaces for park your car!

The search for the perfect car park continues. And this is close to it! Lovely tarmac parking bays, with lovely views of the back of beach huts. Open air. Bins included. Toilets are weird though. Not the sort of place I would like to hang around.
Simply the best car park for visiting the beach! There's plenty of parking and if you park on the side with the beach huts, you can have a nice shaded spot. It's right next to the beach. There are toilets on site. What more could you want!
Got there at 730 am no problem parking
