I did not expect to find this lovely gallery today. I had some time between one bus and another and I'm so glad I stumbled across this. I was carrying a huge backpack and they were so kind to offer to keep it at the front desk so I could enjoy the exhibition more freely. Absolutely fantastic! Also, they had a puzzle of one of the artworks and I spent a great time doing it!
Incredible Gallery on a rainy day in NYC, amazing diversity in the exhibitions on show, could have stayed all day.Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
Loved the art gallery, some very interesting pieces of art there. Visited the Laura Ashley Exhibition and listened to a very interesting commentary on her life. A very enjoyable visit.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Great little gallery with very warm staff and interesting pieces. Seems very supportive of young artists and encouraged us as visitors to get involved with their award initiatives. Passed this on the way to another stop and really glad we dropped in.
Miserable experience. Except for the paintings in the Tabernacle café there were very few others worth seeing. Cafe very disappointing indeed. A single cake option - lemon cake apparently, although very little taste of lemon and texture quite rubbery. Instant coffee too. No fruit teas. Seriously wish I hadn't made the effort to get here. A waste of an a very expensive train ticket. There are much, much better art galleries than this in Wales. Don't waste your time on this one.
If you love modern art, this would be a great place to visit. We went to see a particular exhibition of local art from the Borth area. Unfortunately this was displayed in the cafeteria and didn't allow you to have a really good look at the art - unless you like looming over tables of people having lunch!!. There were other exhibitions of modern art, which were very well displayed and would be enjoyed by the modern art lover. Entry to MOMA is free but a donation would be very well accepted.
Great little museum/exhibition space/gallery. Some thought provoking, interesting and some lovely works exhibited when I visited, late Jul 2023. Staff extremely nice and happy to help with any questions you have. Entry is free, but please do consider making a donation when you visit.
Nice little place to walk around and see the art. Photography, painting, sculpture, mixed media. They have a little of everything.
Quirky little modern art gallery with a great shop over 2 stories, but wheel chair friendly. Great pictures on a mabinogion theme, and interesting portraits. I was less keen on the nailed body part sculptures but each to their own.
Fantastic gallery right on our doorstep.
