I would definitely recommend Martin without hesitation. After playing sport for almost 50 years I have had a few injuries and seen a few physio's, but without doubt Martin is the best I've seen. He took the time to explain to me all the 'surgeon jargon' that went with having a knee operation for ACL, MCL, Meniscus etc which I was struggling to get my head around. After just one session I left with a renewed optimism of retuning to sport following his advice and physio program. I chose Martin because of his sports background, not sure whether this would make a difference or not, but it clearly does and would highly recommend.
Went to see Martin to diagnose a knee injury I got playing football. He was very welcoming and easy to talk to and unfortunately for me confirmed my fears that it was an ACL injury. Martin was very supportive and discussed all the options I had going forward.
Martin was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable at my first appointment. I found out a lot of information that I didn’t know prior to my appointment which was very helpful for treating my injury and when I’m back running too! A few jokes to make me smile and I walked out feeling more hopeful that I’ll be back on my feet again soon. Overall great service and I would highly recommend to any other athlete in need of a physio!
Martin is a brilliant physiotherapist, he has treated me on many occasions and has always been extremely professional. The treatments and advice given have always resolved the issue. I choose to go to Martin, he always seems to work his magic to enable me return to exercising pain free.
Martin was fantastic - deeply knowledgeable, but able to explain things simply in a totally non-patronising way. Having had disappointing experiences with other HCPs about my long-term prospects of returning to fitness following injury, it was refreshing that he was able to give me hope that some small changes in my routine would make a huge difference. I could not recommend him highly enough.
Presumably if you are reading this, you are in need of a physiotherapist. You can stop searching at this point and just contact Martin at Mold Physiotherapy immediately. In short, I have been very sporty for a good portion of my life, being involved in everything from cycling to cage fighting and, to a reasonable level as well . Over the years I have done myself no end of mischief with injuries that would, if I were to list them all here, read more like a casualty list in a bus crash, rather than things that have happened to just one person. I have used other physiotherapists in the past with results that could euphemistically be described as "mixed". Not necessarily the fault of the therapist, but, there always seemed to be factors preventing a therapist delivering a well thought out investigation, diagnosis and therapy delivery. Sometimes it is through lack of knowledge, other times, time or organisational constraints. Martin at Mold Physiotherapy is a very knowledgeable, exceptionally talented physiotherapist, who has been able to diagnose and treat the root of my assorted ailments. He is polite, courteous, and professional. He has been able to examine, explain, demonstrate and subsequently ensure correct execution of rehab movements in a way that is understandable to someone like me, who has only a rudimentary understanding of which body part does what, and why. Martin takes the time to listen to and consider what is being conveyed to him. The fact that he has a background in sports injury, with athletes of all levels and many different sports, including combat sports, means that if you are looking for a physiotherapist because you have injured yourself through sport, you should simply make the call now. If you aren't involved in sport, never have been and never will be, and have simply pulled something moving between the sofa and the fridge, you should absolutely still call Martin to help you. If you want to reabilitate, this is the best clinic to help you get there. If you are still reading at this point, I honestly don't know why you are still doing so and haven't picked up the phone and made the call already...
Thanks Martin for seeing my son Alistair and giving clear and easy advice for him to follow in his recovery. He promises me he’s doing his stretches every day and he says his running is improving as a result.
