Although the coffee isn't the best for my European taste, the presentation is always beautiful. The staff is super friendly and is one of my favorite bakery places in Bristol. It’s a bit overpriced, you won’t be able to have a coffee with a filled croissant for less than 9£. If you’re a morning person who enjoys having fresh bread sandwiches for breakfast, here they won’t make it before 10.30am, which is a shame. I am a regular costumer and I love their bread, the Serrano Ham Croissant is my favorite good quality!, the puff pastry is super tasty if you try a plain croissant you will see how yummy it is. The pain au chocolat with hazelnuts is a delicious bomb and quite generous maybe too sweet for some tastes, as well as the Almond croissant. The raspberry pastry with custard is delicious. Amazing sandwiches fresh crispy bread, used to have good salads. Cons on winter, it doesn’t have much room if you want to eat in, during busy hours, but with a proper jacket you can enjoy your coffee and pastry in their tables outside. It’s close to the wharf, so you can enjoy your coffee with a river view I highly recommend!
The pastries were good, I especially love the raisin roll, they have been so generous with the raisins. The drinks were just OK, though. The hot chocolate was too sweet. Also they have very limited space inside, although plenty of seatings outside. Not a recommended destination during rainy weather.
Excellent bakery and coffee shop. A great find on a quick trip to Bristol. I ordered a cinnamon bun and oat milk flat white. Best cinnamon bun I've ever eaten... and huge too. Partner also had a freshly squeezed orange juice. Also bought a sourdough loaf to take home which was incredible - might even be the best sourdough I've ever bought!
We picked a flat white and a cookie that day and we loved the coookie so much! It was soft and at the same time, getting a lot of chocolate chips there and not too sweet. Perfect match with the nutty flat white as well! Great services as well!!
We came late, so limited pastries were available, but luckily I had almond croissant. Omg! Best ever choice, I loved it so much! Very tasty, crunchy outside, fluffy inside. Just perfect. Coffee was also very good. Whenever I will come back to Bristol this small coffee place will be a stop for me.
Food is good enough and drinks are fine. What isn't fine is the company's response to my friend having a severe allergic reaction to their sandwich. He has had a nut allergy his whole life so knows what to look for on a food label. Their nut label system is confusing and doesn't really work as it can be confused with a sticker for price. He had his bad reaction and then told the staff. They didn't really appear to care. So he email the company HQ and they also didn't really appear to care just saying that there are labels in place. Yes, the labels are in place but they are confusing. Sort it out.
One of the two best bakeries in Bristol other is Pinkmans. Too bad there is limited seating inside.
Food and cake looked great; doughnut and coffee cake was lovely. Service was poor - huffing and big deep sighs when customers in front asked for a bag. I get customer service is a painful job, but either smile and wave or leave. Coffee tasted atrocious.
Excellent food and coffee. Lovely place to chill
Ordered a chai latte. Smelt gorgeous. Would've tasted gorgeous too if it hadn't been just luke warm. The girl who served it was clearly irritated at my request for a hot one so I decided to just leave it and go.
