I ordered a cup of coffee and sat upstairs, the views of the window were good, but the cleanness of the tables were not tidy. The coffee was good, way more better than some others in town.
This coffee shop has the potential to be so nice but always dirty. We’ve been here in December and in April. Both times a mess. I included a picture and these plates were here for 30 min. We left and no one had cleaned them up. Also no proper cups and saucers. You pay a decent amount for coffee and tea and then you get a wooden stick instead of a spoon? This is in the center of town. A little more thought and you’d have a brilliant place.
We had a couple of lattes and two croissants. The croissants were very nice, the coffe was nice but nothing special and it was quite expensive about £17. What let the place down was the unfriendly staff. Probably won’t use this coffee shop again.
No tables that were actually clean - dirty plates and cups everywhere. There were several members of staff, clearly cleaning up was not a priority for them. Expensive to eat in.
The products and coffee quality of Mokoko are excellent, with a vast variety of drinks and pastries. We had the pain au chocolate, an earl grey and a latte, all made with love. One of the best parts of Mokoko apart of the food and beverages it offers, is the incredible view of Bath Abbey. Will definitely be visiting again on our next trip to Bath.
Bang in the center of bath right by the ancient Roman Baths this friendly coffee spot offers a good selection of single origin coffees that they roast on the premises. The coffee is balanced and smooth and very tasty. There is an excellent selection of homemade cakes with plenty of non dairy options and for breakfast you can choose from a selection of homemade granolas. Prices are fair and the smiles abound and there’s seating both inside and outside.
What a place ! I think I am in love. The design is incredible. The smell is amazing. The coffee is great, and the pastries look out of this world. They are #vegiefriendly and #dogfriendly. They have an outside sitting area and an inside sitting area. It's right next to the abbey, so it's perfect for a quick break. The ladies serving us were super nice and helpful. They were also quite pretty They serve lunch, and you can have it take away. They have a veggie and vegan option. My friend has been trying coffee shops in Bath, and this one was his favourite spot.
Mokoko café in the centre of Bath with views of the Abbey... An outdoor seating area for sunny days.. And indoor upstairs rooms with plenty of seating. Lovely staff and coffee and cake. One of my favourite to go to places when I visit the city.
With my friend we each payed £15 for coffee, fruit danish and tea. We were quietly studying for finals next week. The moment my friend went away, the staff approached me and asked me to leave the place because of ‘no study’ policy. I was shocked, as the place was completely empty - no customers at all on the top floor every room. Who am were we bothering studying? Who’s place were we taking? And why do we have to pay £30 for breakfast to be treated like this?
A cosy mix of chairs and quaint decor, plenty of wood and plain walls. Staff are friendly, and though the prices are quite high, the quality matches it and the range of fresh cakes is outstanding
