This is a large cafe that doesn't look much from the outside but is lovely. Spacious inside and the tables are not squashed in, plenty of room. Large maps on display for the walkers. Dogs are allowed inside. There are tables outside and a reasonable amount of parking. Food is great, I love the porridge any time of the day! Good range of food. They also have a "walk of the day" starting from the cafe and can suggest other walks as well.

Great place to meet people from the outdoor community. Often used as a meeting place for instructors meeting their clients.
A really good atmosphere with friendly staff. Locally sourced produce on the menu and can personally recommend the  bacon sandwiches for breakfast, to set you up before setting foot on the hills.
During high season can be busy and pays to get there early.

Nice place to relax and regroup after a fun day out adventuring on the mountains, or as a base to prepare yourself for the exciting day ahead. Plenty of choice on the menu and friendly staff. I'll definitely be going back!

Great place to carb load before or replace after hiking or climbing. Has maps, routes and info for your needs. Also friendly staff whom don't mind dogs as long as on lead. Can preorder your food for your return so you can be assured your cake or scone is available. Really nice breakfasts and food too.
