I dropped in to have a look at some building supplies on Monday. I had an idea of what I needed, but a gentleman at the MKM service desk gave excellent support and guidance through the materials I needed for my project.nnThere was no judgement, nothing but understanding. He explained the pricing and type of materials related to the job. The gentleman even went as far as providing me with brochures and examples of how the project should look.nnOnce everything was explained, I was very satisfied with the pricing of the materials quoted.nnI will be back at the weekend with the correct measurements to place my order.nnKeep up the good work MKM Building supplies. I'll recommend me you to anyone with a building project in mind!
Not one for leaving reviews but big shout out to the guys at this depot..... I ordered and had delivered 5 sheets of WBP which were delivered free. A mix up with the builders meant they turned up with the plywood already supplied, it was inclusive of the price they gave to repair our roof. Now, normally most builders yards would say sorry your onto plums if you want to return sheet materials, but we contacted MKM explained what had happened and they said they would see what they could do. Came home today to find the pallet with the ply wood lifted from the garden and an hour later a call from Mark at the Berwick depot to arrange full refund. Absolutely stellar service, don't think many other places would be this understanding. They may not always be the cheapest in the Borders /Berwickshire but you can't put a price on service like that...I will without doubt be using MKM again in the near future for all my building requirements. Thank you guys.
Outstanding customer service I received this morning from Simon, he worked out my measurements for a garden wall, he explained everything in detail and even managed to squeeze in my bulk delivery. I would certainly recommend MKM your a credit to the company. Excellent customer service!!
Worst MKM I have ever been in. Rude and incompetent staff. Hardly any stock of anything really useless. Many other great well stocked builders merchants available in berwick. When describing the service I recieved at this particular MKM to another MKM branch they were not surprised. Will definitely not be back.
MKM delivered materials for the Brown Bear Inn on Hide Hill in Berwick-upon-Tweed.nnGreat value. Helpful people. Quick and do the job when they say they will. Excellent service all round.
