Food was really good, specially the crispy chicken dish delicious and the price was affordable. The reason for the 3 starts is because of the woman at the bar taking our orders and stuff. She was just rude, we had to ask 3 times for her to explain what was on the sushi roll. She told us we couldn't sit before ordering in a very rude way. It was our first time and we didn't know this rule. At least she could have been nice about it. I don't know, she just seemed to hate her life; and I get it, being a waitress is not an easy job and you have to deal with a lot of people, but the restaurant was empty when we arrived and we were trying to be kind. I was very close to leaving cuz it was very uncomfortable for me so I don't think I will come back here.
Easily one of the best Japanese restaurants in Cork. Miyazaki is run by Japanese chefs with real passions. I recommend ordering something from their daily specials and sushi menu. Everything came in very large portions and we had to take a lot of food home, although it was worth the experience. Make sure you queue up in advance, as there are only a dozen seats inside. Lovely experience and can’t wait to visit again!
It's a nice Japanese restaurant, the food is okay and the portions are large, but the waiting is really long. Since the shop is so small, takeaway is a good option but it might take 35 minutes to have the meal, the waiters will tell you how long you need to waitFood: 4/5
Easily the best affordable japanese in Cork. Owned by a 1 star Michelin, his takeaway is a very good mix between affordable and well-done cuisine. Hidden gem that you would definitely want to try !Food: 5/5
Amazing Beef upon soup, 5 star for food. However last taking order wasn't nice at all. We came at 8pm, waiting 20 min to order. At that moment there was no free chair so we ordered take away soup. Then two chairs got free and we ask that lady to serve us soup eat-in, not to wrap it. But she said no due to soon closing in 30min.. and in 1 min served other people eat-in food... Delicious food, unfriendly lady at the counter.
Never disappoints. The service is great and you get to see the chef cooking from the window. Just make sure you come early or are willing to wait as they have limited seats. Most people do take away or go to the nearby pub that accepts their customers. Overall fantastic experience.
€14.50 for a tiny portion of udon. Tempura prawn tasted good but soaked in soup batter melted and fell apart. Msg soup base. Not worth it.
Absolutely nothing to say about the quality of the food, it's just crazy the quality of the ramen I had! As far as the venue is concerned, it's a shame to have such a good kitchen in such an out of the way and cramped environment. After seeing the rent prices in Cork I can't blame them... The waitress must not have been at her best, quite cold for such a friendly place, a shame. I recommend it to all ramen lovers, their menu changes regularly and the prices are correct considering the quality!
The most authentic Japanese food you can find in Cork! See the picture of the empty bowl and you will realize how good the food is it!Food: 5/5
