Very friendly staff. Very good coffees and hot chocolate. Cake menu unfortunately limited at the moment because of covid but enjoyed what was available.
Ok 4 a qwick bite or cuppa.
Had my first spiced chi latte. I thought it was coffee but it is actually a tea. Quite Sweet. They also do sugar free but had none today. Would like to try it next time.
They make an excellent Latte and serve delicious cakes and scrumptious sandwiches. Depending on the weather, you can relax indoors/outdoors. The staff are friendly and always polite. Well worth a visit. Mr. Woods is near the entrance of the Metro Line/North Shields.
The girls in Mr Woods sure know how to make coffee. I asked for a strong flat white and that is exactly what I got, it was delicious, so was the millionaire shortbread! 10/10 highly recommended!

I was served by a very friendly lady, and the coffee shop had a wonderful positive vibe, which I feel has been lost in a lot of large chain coffee shops. It's a very welcoming coffee shop with high quality drinks a d snacks.
I have been coming for years and it is my favourite coffee shop. Great coffee and atmosphere. I am just waiting for the day when I come in and there is a vegan cake or sandwich offer. Fingers crossed it won't be long. Then it will be perfect.
