Mister Fu's is a great place to come and enjoy a relaxing meal whatever the occasion. We have award winning Cantonese chefs cooking up some amazing dishes for you to try.

We have just launched our new menu with some great new additions and we are getting some great feedback from our customers.

We also have a great range of Draught Beers including Oriental Favorites Singha and SunLik as well as others like Coors Light etc...

Food is generally good, it's better to order takeaway than go in though as they prioritize the takeaway customers. Took us about 3 hours from start to finish and we had to call them over to get them to take orders, had to ask them where food was. When we finally started bring out the mains we got rice and chips then didn't get anything else for almost half an hour so they had to come and top us up. The servers told us that this was because of the high volume of takeaway orders.
I went there with my wife having a lot of hopes n reading the review here. But guess what turned out to be a disaster. The frog legs was good and because of that I'm rating them 2. The soup was just salty without any flavour. The fresh apple juice was something not fresh n served from what they buy from a super market The napkin had holes in it! Can u believe it. It took more than an HR for them to get me the bill and pay for it. Honestly the place is ridiculously priced for the food it serves. In fact I have had better food from small Chinese take aways. There is an uncanny cheapness to everything there.From the torn napkin to the cheap plastic soup spoons and have written invoice.
Having just moved to the area 8 months ago and tried all the local takeaways and restaurants, we were so relieved to find Mister fu's! Absolutely delicious food, and the waiting staff are so friendly. They made us feel right at home. The chefs will cook your food exactly as you like it...varying from their usual recipes. It's brilliant, and I'm really hard to please. Well done guys
We have used this restaurant over a few years. Yesterday evening 01/06/18 the service was so poor the couple on the next table waited that long for there main course they walked out without it, not paying for the starter. Several others also complained about the service. The staff where that busy with take-aways the seated customers where second in the service list. I would never use this restaurant again without a Groupon voucher or similar. There was nothing wrong with the food.
Me & my partner go to Mr. Fu's at least twice a month. Service is great and staff are fabulous. No rush and if there is an issue, it's sorted without fuss. Partner prefers veg spring roll to meat and also likes her hot n sour soup hotter than normal, never a problem A+ Obviously when it's fully booked service can be slower, but that suits us, as we enjoy the night and in no rush. When we have needed to be elsewhere, meeting friends etc. We mention this to the staff and they ensure we get away on time.
Got hot and spicy chicken wings for starters..well they was rubbish,no flavour and just greasy. Then had to wait an hour for my main, the place was dead aswell! Chips were under cook, the worse rice I've ever had. I will not be going back the food was awful! Staff was polite so no problem there
Such a shame as it used to be nice and reasonably priced, they've now stopped doing the mid week special and the chef has changed apparently. My god you can tell! I had chicken and sweet corn soup for starters and it was horrible, the chicken was soggy and snotty in consistency !? And the soup itself was watery. For main I had chow mein, from the very first mouthful all I could taste was salt. The chips were so over cooked that the potato had gone and so so dry. It was not nice at all. Like I said before all the changes it was great but now.... no. I was gutted because I'd moaned to my husband to go for weeks! What a waste :
Went to this place on recommendation. Being a restaurant we expected smartly dressed staff, wrong! Even the manager was dressed in jeans. We were given the menus by a young lad and whilst deciding what to eat he paced up and down at the side of us for 10 mins until we placed our order. We went for the £20/head meals where you had a choice of soup and a platter of spare ribs, spring rolls and burnt chicken wings and you chose a main meal with rice. The starters arrived looking like they had been thrown on the plate - no presentation whatsoever. The chicken wings were burnt, the spring rolls and ribs tasteless and so hot temperature wise we thought they had been microwaved. The main meals arrived. The fried rice tasted like it was a batchelors packet rice and quickly fried. The main dishes were so full of salt they were inedible. Complained to "the management" who offered to replace the meals to which we declined as we couldn't see how they would fair any better. They then offered to reduce our £60 food bill by £10. We refused and said we wouldn't pay for a meal that we couldn't eat. In the end we agreed to pay for the starters only and our drinks. This place is not even worth the 1 star I have given and we certainly won't be returning or recommending to family and friends.
The staff try very hard and are helpful but the workload aint fair. Or they need to work as a team. Some worked very hard while some looked blank. We waited 20 minutes past our booking and had to visit the bar for an update for menues and then drinks. Food was very nice but let down by the service. Again no fault on the polite staff who are running around ragged. The disabled toilets are blocked with spare dining chairs !! Would i visit again ? Yes. But this place could be so much better with a good team leader
Lovely staff...unfortunately long waits between courses and our table of 4 had our meals brought out at different times. My husband had his main sitting on the table for nearly 10 mins but with no rice. The staff however took it back into the kitchen and brought it out again with everyone else's order. One of us asked for beef in black bean sauce but had something totally different brought out!!
