Shocking hygiene by the young chef. Handled a customer's mobile phone and then not long later used his bare unwashed hands to place salad in my container, with the manager right next to me. I know the place has not scored very highly according to Waltham Forest environmental health services but surely its common sense to use a utensil. To ask your customer the salad they want and then place it in a whist they watch with you bare hands that has just handled another customers mobile phone is a disgrace. The guy is a very very nice guy but surely he has no sense of food hygiene. Was not the only issue and had many on other orders however despite routing for this place it's a no more. Needless to say salad was thrown in the bin in hospital as the pregnant other half was sent there because of an emergency due concerns about baby. Couldn't give her that as well as one of the kebabs which was undercooked. Went in the microwave when we got home. No chances taken given our immune system.

Food has been slightly late on both occasions but have been very impressed by the range of dishes on the menu and the quality of the food and reasonable prices. My personal recommendations would be the Arayes & the Fattoush.

Got the moutabal and the fatayer with grilled halloumi cheese for takeaway last week. The former is on point: the chargrilled aubergine taste is strong and the flavour of the sesame seed paste is deliciously strong. The pomegranate arils offer a great sweet offset. Seriously addictive and a good portion size. The latter order is four pita triangles stuffed with slivered halloumi; almost like delicate sandwiches. It comes with a pickled radish (?) which tastes just as delicious. Hiba has a good amount of veg options otherwise but obviously even more so for meat-eaters. Fairly priced for the food I got - a garlic and a spicy pepper sauce are added for free. This would be my go-to place if I lived nearby.

Tiny portions and over priced. Arrived in stated time but was COLD. Tabbouleh was chopped up parsley with a few dots of cous cous. Con tabbouleh. Hummus was nice. Aryana pizza was a joke. Mixed grill was not char grilled as stated and although the chicken was good the lamb was not - cheap cut off meat and very rubbery. Portions are abismally small. Will NOT try again. It's cheaper to eat in the westend.
