The online menu and the menu for their other Brixham restaurant are old and have completely incorrect prices. Paid £24 for a meal we thought would be £18.60. Got sent to their other restaurant to collect the order, and only found out it was cash only when we got there. Chicken was rubbery, crispy chicken wasn’t crispy, good prawn toast but definitely not worth whatever the mystery price was. Won’t be returning there or ordering from their other restaurant. It’s not hard to keep an online menu up to date, or to tell people to go to a completely different restaurant with cash. It’s also not hard to cook chicken nicely, I should have just made dinner myself!
Worst meal to date I'm afraid will not be ordering from here again now . Don't live far we ordered 10 mins before opening it took 1 hour an 15mins to deliver an then another 10 after calling. The prawn crackers were all smashed up an the prawns in the prawn balls were inedible an rock hard. The pork in the dry cold chow mean was solid an all in all the meal was cold an not satisfactory for £40. Will advice others not to use them too. Very poor service an food quality. I'm afraid very disappointing.
Thank goodness this is not my local! We ordered food over the phone, received the food and then contacted the takeaway to say that one of the items was missing. We then contacted the takeaway and the person who took down the order admitted that they wrote our order down wrong.. Great, surely they will just come out and give us the dish we ordered right? NOPE!! They basically said that if we pay £2 they will come back out again and deliver the part of our order that was missing, but they would take back the item that they accidently put in which was sesame toast - hate to think who got that in their delivery. So, when they arrived at the door with the dish we originally ordered we asked how much would it be to keep the Sesame toast, and they basically asked us for more money than it actually is and told us we must have an old menu we got the prices from their website. Lastly, you do not get prawn crackers unless you spend £50 - you would think they would drop some round for the inconvenience they caused but instead we were told to go to the Chinese next door and order some - Yeah, probably won't be ordering here again, such a shame as the food was reasonable.
I’ve never had a bad experience of this Chinese food wise however the customer service this evening 12/7/22 was horrific. The blonde lady that served us didn’t greet us or anything, simply looked at us with an ice cream in her mouth and round her mouth and went ‘what?’ We placed an order without any thanks or politeness. Not only was she eating an ice cream whilst serving us, she was answering questions with food in her mouth and chocolate all round her mouth which she cleaned by wiping her mouth with her hand and licking her fingers. The lady then proceeded to swear and slag off other customers and staff with her colleagues whilst there were children. Absolutely disgusting customer service.
Moved from the peak district beginning of the year, less salt bigger portions any one who gives this place less than 4 stars is being a mardy b@!#h Parking: Find a spot
Ordered starter of Hors D Oeuvres...would not recommend...chicken satay and spare ribs were both way over cooked and dry to the point they was almost inedible. Sesamie prawn toast consisted of just three quarters...not even one slice of bread! At £9.30 not exactly good value.... King prawn Chow Mein was average....Usually collect from Wongs on Fore St but informed this was from Ming Garden....would not recommend...
Good food but disappointing service. The blonde lady that served us was very rude and was more interested in her ice cream than in taking our order. Will only use the Fore Street shop in future.
Beautiful Chinese. Holidaying in Brixham we decided one night to have a Chinese when we got it. I'm always about wearing when ordering from a new place. But I was pleasantly surprised. Food was hot and yummy. Would highly recommend. Shame we are 4 hours away from you. Somehow I don't think you would deliver 250 miles away. We enjoyed it that much that we ordered it again a couple of days after.
Fantastic food,I'd go so far as too say its probably the beat Chinese I've had,you have to try the salt n pepper king prawns..
On holiday and fancied a Chinese with the family; my god I was surprised with how high quality the food is! It’s a shame that not all Chinese takeaways are the same like this as it’s just amazing! The chicken was so tasty and melted in your mouth rather than being dry and the beef was so succulent and juicy. I would recommend to anyone looking for a chineese whilst away and not sure who to go with. It’s in an awkward location road wise but it’s really worth it 10/10
