What an absolutely stunning Abbey. If you are visiting the picturesque relocated village of Milton Abbas a mile up the road then do make the effort to see this Abbey. Now part of the Milton Abbey School, so access isn't guaranteed. There is a footpath past the lake that takes you right to the Abbey. There is also a wonderful view down to the Abbey from the nearby St Catherine's Chapel.

The architecture is stunning which makes it well worth visiting, the surrounding countryside is pleasantly beautiful too.

Pretty okay place. Not the most amazing but it is a pretty building, in some excellent grounds, tucked out the way. I'd recommend taking a look around if you're in the area.

Lovely place but even if it was fully open I have been told it wasn't safe because of covid two days ago indoors were allowed to open though.
