Went to Millsy's for dinner with a group of friends. It was a large booking and the reservation team was very helpful and flexible with changes to the booking. Our table was spacious and very comfortable for everyone. The menu has plenty of options. Tried the liver paté to start which was absolutely delicious. For main went for the pork belly and a side of mozzarella sticks. Everything was made fresh and delicious. The dessert was a bread and butter pudding which was perfect. The portions are quite large. Their cocktails are delicious too! Staff are very friendly and quick, food arrives promptly as well. That night there was live music so that made the whole ambiance very nice. Overall very good experience
Went for breakfast, which was nice and quiet and clean. Service was quick and very friendly. The food was lovely. I would say that £4.50 to add a thin slice of salmon is a bit high. I would recommend breakfast though as it was very nice and smashes these greasy cafes out of the park. For anyone that's never been to Earlsdon parking, really isn't the best. Pot luck for a space and may find you are driving up and down streets for a space.
Went to a wedding reception meal here after the ceremony, it was a small intimate experience for 20 people n wowzers, I didn’t expect 5 truly delicious courses with fine wine pairings expertly matched to each course, and with truly exceptional service and introductions for each course from a knowledably host. Really Really great food and experience. The evening buffet for the party guests was equally delicious. And they also catered for allergies n preferences with matched alternative dishes where need
Waited an hour for food to be delivered to our table. My calamari was so tough it was inedible. When I voiced my opinion to the waitress, she came back and informed me the chef said if he cooked it again, it would be the same.!!!. Personally, my friends and I would never eat there again. But on the plus side, the entertainment and atmosphere was very good.
Booked as a group celebration so we chose from the large group menu. The sharing board was absolutely delicious, I hate seafood but the calamari was absolutely delicious, so tender with a lovely light tempura batter. Everyone was very happy with their main courses, I had the fish and chips, huge piece of fish which was juicy and in a lovely batter. The lemon posset was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Would have given 5 stars but the tiramisu let down the whole meal. However when this was pointed out the staff couldn’t do enough to rectify this. We had a lovely evening. Parking: This is an extremely busy area at weekends and I would recommend using a taxi
Really disappointed with my visit today. The food when it finally arrived an hour later was actually really nice but the service was terrible. No one told us there was a backlog of food orders meaning our food would be late nor did we get an apology for it coming out so late but I did overhear a server apologising to the table next to us. When my food came I had significantly less chips on my plate and when I asked for more this was met with surprise, and no apology but I did get more chips shortly after. No one looked after us, but I noticed other people being looked after by various servers. Had to ask for beans for my child’s order as they forgot. We had all finished our drinks by the time food came so had to order more so the bill was more expensive than it should have been. Had to ask for the bill, whereas other guests would get theirs by a server when their table was cleared, again we obviously didnt have a server notice our table needed clearing. Then got forgotten about again when needed card reader. Was glad there was no service charge as I would have asked for it to be removed. Please do better next time, although I won’t be rushing back after today.
Got in quickly and was sat down, menus on the table and asked about dietary requirements. Drinks came quickly as did food and were delicious. Service, food, atmosphere and music was amazing! Dietary restrictions: Immediately asked upon arrival and plenty of menu options. Wheelchair accessibility: Stair lifts on ground floor and a stair lift to the upstairs part too.
More like a 3.5. I had the full English and gave it a 6.8 out of 10. Thin wholewheat slice for a brekkie? Needs to be a nice thick slice of white bloomer or sourdough. Also it was a little on the "cooked for hours" side. - 1 No black pudding. Or white pudding. Or any pudding. - 1 No tinned plum tomatoes. - 1 Asked for tap water and they bought out 1 glass of water for two people. - 0.2 All in all it was pretty decent and tasty, but a few marks off the pace. Get that black pudding on the plate and some proper bread and you're there. A breakfast extras menu wouldn't go a miss either.
Food was amazing. Accommodated our party of 18, food came out at the same time and didn't disappoint. Will definitely be back soon.Food: 5/5
Went in here for the first time for a long time for drinks as the Royal Oak over the road was packed. It was pleasantly busy here, with some seats available. Staff friendly and after initial drink, we were served at the table for subsequent drinks, which is nicer than queueing at the bar. Music levels ok. Will return.Service: 5/5
