Only had a sandwich takeaway so not much to judge or make a fair comment. The Covid plastic screen all around the counter makes it hard for communication as I couldn't hear the quiet voice of the server. Sausage skin was thick and tough and therefore pulled the filling out of the sandwich whilst eating. Will probably try again when next in the area but will avoid the sausage in a sandwich.
This is a traditional cafe, serving traditional cafe food etc. Not cordon bleu, but good, hearty fare on a cold afternoon. Good portion sizes and good, friendly service also.Food: 5/5
A regular place I go to, the staff are very friendly and the food is usually spot on. Would recommend Vegetarian options: There are not too many options for vegetarians. Kid-friendliness: Friendly for kids.
Great food for a really good price. I had an egg, bacon and hash brown baguette and it was lovely, almost too much food I couldn't finish! Would highly recommend!

Really lovely little cafe. The staff are lovely and service is fast. The food is lovely and reasonably priced. You have loads of options on the menu to choose from. You can come here for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Great cafe for a tasty breakfast. My husband and I come here often and are always happy with the prompt and polite service we receive. One to definitely keep going back to!
Had a nice breakfast here the other day, as we were working close by, but can’t help thinking there’s a missed opportunity here for the owner. This is a nice visible corner plot. Clean the blind. Put some nice flowers in the drab herb planters. Pull the weeds in the surrounding path/seating area. Put umbrellas in the outdoor tables. If the big planters belong to you, replant the them. If they belong to the council, ask them if you can maintain them. I’ve lived and worked in the area for 30 years but never been draw to this drab cafe. Sorry, but the food was good!!
Fab little cosy cafe, with an excellent service. Would definitely return here.
Went their with two friends, friendly and attentive staff. Big plates of food, be it a salad choice or something more substantial. Reasonably price. Good coffee. It is good to be supporting small local businesses like this rather than the big coffee chains.
