Top notch shop. Saved my bacon after many an emergency while camping on the Llyn peninsula over the years. Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of parking right outside and customer friendly opening hours. Usually pretty competitive on price too.
H Brilliant store. Unfortunately now off course as Caernarfon bypass open so need half mile detour to Dinas. Staff very keen and knowledgeable, excellent advice re items needed for challenge walk planned. Needs to be relocated to better site quick. Staff say sales way down since bypass opened. What a waste!!
Visited here whilst staying in Anglesey as I heard they had dry-robes in the sale. Staff were friendly & all five in my party bought some kit. I got a dry-robe but they left the security tag attached so I visited my local Black's when I got home to have it removed.
Plenty of stock. Very helpful staff. Just take a short detour off the new bypass towards Caernarfon to make sure this brilliant store stays open.
Excellent choice and service. Staff member was Welsh speaking and very helpful. Gave good advice on purchases in store and ordered what I required that was not in store. Delivery by Monday. Definitely worth a visit, friendly and approachable.
Great customer service. Not pushy but helpful. Old fashioned in the sense that the staff seem to use the products that they are selling so actually know something about them. We purchased a new self inflating camp mattress to replace a poor purchase at a competitor! Lesson learned, should have gone to Millets first :-
Very good arrangements for social distancing and staff wearing masks. We also had some good bargains - nice fleece jacket £28, walking poles buy one get second half price, and a very comfortable pair of walking boots.
Very knowledgeable staff who talked me out of replacing my coat explaining how to restore the waterproofing of my existing coat. I did purchase a better coat for my wife and a waterproof bag for inside my rucksack so they still had a sale and happy customers.
Popped in on our way to Abersoch. My partner needed new walking boots. Staff were very helpful and we ended up buying a couple of camping chairs too. We wanted light chairs to carry whilst walking and staff helped us with that too.
A great outdoor-gear shop. Happened to stop here due to car breaking down; must have looked a little weird walking to the shop! It's a clean shop which offers a large variety of things to do with the great outdoors. Walking equipment, caravan stuff and tents and probably much more! are all provided. It's a good little walking shop worth a visit!
