Despite telling the dentist on MORE than one check up that there was something wrong with a back tooth, he would check it and tell me it was fine. Finally he replaced some old cosmetic work that I'd had for c.20 years (chipped front tooth etc. from childhood) and I was so unhappy with it, that I found a new dentist. The new dentist promptly found that my back tooth was SO BADLY DECAYED, IT COST HUNDREDS TO PUT RIGHT and will still probably need a crown which will cost even more! They also had to take the "cosmetic" work out and re-do this which cost a small fortune. The old dentist was also happy to take my money for Denplan (I’d had this for years and always thought Denplan was like insurance but it's not, it goes straight to the practice) but not once in YEARS did they let me see the hygienist.
