Visited whilst staying at the adjacent Premier Inn, service was excellent and the food exceptional as always - although BBQ Ribs weren't as tender as normal. Steak cooked beautifully and all presented to a great standard! Overall a million times better than our stay in the Premier Inn see review
For friendliness you get 5 stars. Unfortunately my waitress told me they didn’t have the cod and chips but they’d substitute the haddock at no extra cost. Then she left at 17:00 and the next waitress charged me for it! The food was good but my chicken wings were very dry and nuked to an unethical holding temperature. Mistakes that are kind of unforgivable as the place at 16:30 was very quiet. High expectations for my birthday I guess. The roadworks in front adding 20 minutes to my journey didn’t help. You know what? I think it was birthday karma. I’ll go back when the weather clears and see how it is. To be continued…
The staff were very welcoming and accommodating especially Vicky. Forgot to take a picture of my dinner. The steak was lovely, but managed to get one of the dessert.
I had been to East Surrey Hospital & my other half wanted a pint! Unfortunately, they did not do either Tetley's or John Smiths so he had wine! I had the Cheesy Grilled Mushrooms - served on ciabatta & finished with rocket & shaved Parmesan - which was simple but gorgeous! All Staff very welcoming!
A great place to stay on the way down to the coast. We have visited numerous times over the last ten years, I love the way it looks different to other premier inn's. The beefeater restaurant does really good food, it's best to prebook as it does get busy. Breakfast was fantastic, everything looked to perfection, there were empty plates all round, our waitress Jackie did a great job looking after us, can't wait to come back
It was very disappointing. Chairs and tables dirty, very dirty. Signature salad with grilled chicken and parmezan shavings was very disappointing, it was cold fridge temperature , stale, and the only fresh thing on that plate was the chicken, let's not forget that the parmezan was not shavings, it was a wedge. The seaside potatoes are disgusting, those things are not potatoes, it's all mush in a batter soaked in oil. Lamb chops are small and if you say to have them pink prepare yourself as they'll still be kicking. I'm sorry but apart of the mint sauce, triple cooked chips and chicken breast, nothing else was eatable.
A great visit to the MillHouse Beefeater today. Greeted and seated quickly. Our server Jackie introduced herself and took our orders. Our food was delicious and hot. Jackie preempted our refill drink needs and bought refills when we were getting low. Jackie was really friendly and professional, making a great dining experience. We will be back!
Great staff. We were booked into the Premier Inn next door and wasn't aware we needed to book to eat. The waitress was lovely and appreciated we'd had a 4hr drive and managed to squeeze us in. Food was good snd service was attentive. Thank you Mill House!Food: 4/5
absolutely disastrous experience. I'm in a wheelchair, that's why we sat in the bar area, where there was more space to manipulate the wheelchair than in the restaurant. when we spoke to the staff, they informed me that it is only possible to order at the bar. we tried to contact another waiter, whether he could not take care of us as restaurant guests. after a long pause, he agreed to order food for us, but we have to pay before and on the bar. we agreed. that was probably the world for the service, because then they didn't even look at us. my partner wanted to ask for fries, and the waitress who was passing by only replied that she couldn't. the portions are small at exorbitant prices, the taste is quite below average and the visuals are absolutely flat. My boyfriend and I also work in hospitality and we would never treat guests like this. especially since the waitresses have time to flirt with regular guests at the bar! it's ***! I do not recommend it in any case!
Fantastic experience. We were looking to have the traditional Sunday Roast and that’s what we were given! It was brilliant. Lamb / Beef aged sirloin. Decent wine menu. Wonderful Service with a smile.
