**NOT DOG FRIENDLY AT ALL**

My parents were staying onsite for a long weekend. Myself and my family traveled down for the day as we were told about the day pass we could purchase. We paid £18 for the 4 of us for a day pass.( Being charged for our 8month old!!!) Both ourselves and my parents have dogs. We were told on 2 different occasions dogs are welcome in the bar area etc only to be told when we got there that they were not accepted anywhere on site apart from on your pitch. Staff are rude and not helpful at all. Particularly the lady in bar area. Absolutely disgusting how we were spoken to by her. We ended up asking for a refund for our day pass as we couldn’t do anything as the dog wasn’t aloud anywhere. To which we were told they would refund our £18 but will have to keep £6 back for using there toilets! Which we didn’t as we used my parents toilet in there camper. My parents also went home 2 days early as they also couldn’t do anything because of having their dog. There were many other guests coming into reception at the same time we were in there complaining about the same things! Had we of known all of this prior to our stay we wouldn’t of booked this site. My parents were told by jenny before booking that dogs are welcome in the bar area only. This was untrue. Family’s with dogs I would not recommend this site at all! Will not be returning here!

Really great staff and our kids love it just a shame kids club doesn't start on time and isn't constant would of been 5 star otherwise

Club house nice entertainers poor. Swimming pool very nice. Grass pitches in the rain are like a swamps park should have been closed at easter spoilt the weekend.

Reading all the reviews and I can't help but feel some people are lying or just like to complain. Yes it was busy as it was a bank holiday weekend and weather was brilliant but the pitches were big enough for a 12 man tent and utility tent plus car. Toilets and showers were clean and the rubbish bins were emptied every morning and evening. Security patrolled through the evening and at 12am actively went around groups and asked them to turn music completely off, of which people duly obliged. Yes there was people talking and people laughing late on but guess what, they were having a good time and we're still respectful. No tent I walked past or near was so loud i would feel the need to complain. The boating lake and swimming pool was fine for the kids and my 3 plus a friends 3 kids didn't complain once and they ranged from 9-15. Shop was what you expect and in my opinion wasnt over priced too much. Staff were friendly and helpful and when there was an issue with a small child having a No2 accident in the toilet they immediately shut them off and scrubbed them clean. Lots of kids running around, playing in the park and making new friends.....like kids do so I'm baffled at some of the comments. Personally I enjoyed being there and found some miserable people would complain just because they like complaining. Overall I was impressed at the cleanliness and would go back quite happily. My advice is if you are the kind of person who just gets on with things and doesn't let small irks ruin your holiday then ignore the negative reviews and enjoy.

We go camping a lot and this was my children's favourite site. There is plenty for kids to do here. Even though it is a busy place, it was quiet at night. Good value for money.
