This is a big park area that runs alongside the Regent's Cancal. It has ecology areas, sports facilities and paths to walk along - one of which firms a brudge which crosses the road below.
This park is enormous and beautiful. The walking trail is nice. but a lot of rubbish dumped by people makes it look less important. I wish some people keep it clean. The fountain area is a mess so much litter I felt sad. Other than that is good green space.
I recently visited Mile End Park and was blown away by the range of activities and facilities on offer. The Green Bridge is a highlight, offering stunning views of the canal and surrounding area. The Art Pavilion is a great addition to the park, with its contemporary art exhibitions and outdoor terrace. The sports facilities are top-notch, with something for everyone, from football and cricket pitches to a BMX track and climbing wall. The playgrounds and skate park are perfect for families and young people. Overall, Mile End Park is a fantastic destination for a day out, offering something for everyone in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!
It's a wonderful place that is a habitat for different species of fishes and birds. But it's in a terrible state! Trash is everywhere. I saw a bird getting trash from underneath the water and trying to eat it. It's sad that such a wonderful place is in such a terrible state. I spoke to several people representing Canal & River Trust and they said that situation worsens with every year. They don't get enough support from the government, so it's up to people to save this place! Please, if you have trash, don't throw it on the floor or in overfilled bin, keep it until you find a bin that is empty. Today I travelled several stops in London until I found available trash bin. It might be an inconvenience, but it's not hard. It's our city, with wonderful nature. We need to keep it clean and be responsible for it, for our future. Thank you.
Literally a maze, but there was this really nice guy that opened the gates for us. Very cool ducks and scenery though so I'd recommend, just without Boris bikes.
My go-to place at anytime as it is just 100m away from my stay. It is very long and the lake in between is very beautiful. Lot of people do camp in summer and it's a peaceful park to spend time. You can even see a foot ball and other grounds!
One of my favourite parks in London. I often come here on my lunch break and walk alongside Regent's Canal. Amazing canal barges and narrow boats of all sizes and designs. Park has a combination of open spaces, waterways, ponds, swans and wooded areas with lots of paths linking them together.
Mile End Park is a true sanctuary in the heart of London. Its harmonious blend of nature, recreational facilities, and cultural attractions creates a refreshing and rejuvenating experience for visitors of all ages. Whether you're seeking a peaceful escape or an active day out, Mile End Park is a must-visit destination that will leave you feeling connected to nature and invigorated by its serene atmosphere
Its a nice park, peaceful and good for a run. There is a hockey and football ground in there as well, they are the more happening parts of the park. The park could do with a bit more maintenance I must say. Some people threw a few plastic and beer bottles around which is a shame. I hope they keep it up.
Lovely park! Good for dog walks and you can easily get to Victoria park Dog-friendliness: Perfect for walks without leash Picnic area: Lot of free space, saw some tables there as well
