From the station, you can exit onto Kennington Park Road and walk southeast for about 5-10 minutes to reach the park. The entrance to the park is located on Kennington Park Road, and signage should guide you to the main entrance. • FACTS & NOTES: Both Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are connected and together form one large green space in the heart of London. They share a contiguous border and have several entrances that seamlessly blend the two parks. This connection allows visitors to explore both parks seamlessly, enjoying the lush greenery, beautiful landscapes, and various attractions that each park has to offer. • Highly recommended, especially for an early morning walk.
Relaxing vibe. Lots of plants and animals to enjoy as you walk or sit and relax. Easy walkways with plenty of spaces to sit and relax. Grab some pizza while you are there and have a picnic in the park. Dog friendly. Fenced areas for families to enjoy picnics.
My local : pretty small park, one thing I care about the sizes of parks is can I sprint across it under 30 seconds. Unfortunately, for Kennington Park I can! Still it's a great park for street workouts with a bunch of workout stations. A calisthenics practitioner would be delighted. Also, an amazing cafe in the park that does amazing pizzas in their wood-fired oven and great bread and cakes and pastries. And they make a great flat white! You can buy handmade honey made in the park at the shop behind the cafe. I wanted to mention this here as well so as to support their business. Great honey right at your doorstep, made at your doorstep :
Kennington park is one of the best parks to walk dogs, with two 2 enclosures and very large areas to play free and run. Has a toilet and a really nice café. I enjoy a lot every time I’m in this park! Playground: A really nice playground recently rebuilt. Restrooms: There’s a toilet which is not very clean but is very useful as there’s always toilet paper and water. Dog-friendliness: 2 dog enclosures, 1 of them extra large Picnic area: Large areas for picnic
Clean and had various areas for people to play in. There is also a cafe in the park. And the outdoor workout area is definitely useful Playground: Good safe children playground. Dog-friendliness: Good for dogs. Picnic area: A few fields you can have picnic.
Beautiful corner of London greenery complete with fields, sculpted garden and bee sanctuary. Well worth a visit and perhaps a small purchase of honey to support the local charity.
Learned so much about the area through the history posters. Very informative. Loved the walkabout in the park.
Good park, lots of space for running, playing tennis, and sun bathing. Also, there are benches where you can rest and chill for a while. If you love dogs then you'll love it here, and dogs of different shapes and sizes are running around here. It's a very green park with lots of shade. Highly recommended!
My favourite park! Absolutely lovely for running and training. The ideal place for some relaxation, and lovely drinks, dessert and pizzas at the local café. We love it! Playground: Lovely playground for kids Restrooms: Absolutely great service, next to the outdoor gym! Dog-friendliness: One of the best places to walk your dog!
Great local park. It's nice and big, I occasionally run here and a loop round is 1km. There is a coffee shop in the middle which is friendly and vibrant and they make great pizzas too. Quite a few dogs, but they all tend to keep to themselves. Also quite a nice outdoor workout area:
