If it would allow I would not even award one star!! The service extremely poor and horrific! Who knew a chair in the queueing system meant they were not serving anymore customer? Is it that difficult to put a note on abit of paper? Also be very aware that this place operate to close early whenever they feel like it!! More than 10 times in the space of a month they put the chair in place between 4.30 and 4.45 even though advertising opening hours till 5.30!!! Always the same excuse is given, shes on her own and needs to cash up! One hour to count cash?! The solution is simple, hire more staff or change the opening time online! I would strongly advise to avoid this place if possible, the behaviour displayed will certainly put you on a foul mood!!
If you have a parcel to post at this post office - I would advise that you take half a days leave from work in order to stand in the ridiculously long queue at this post office. Also, if you're as unlucky as I often find myself when it comes to this particular post office, you will arrive here to find it closed... Or, on one of many lunch breaks. After another wasted trip today...I am now driving to another branch
Bald man needs customer service training, refused proof of postage and gave me parcel back after paying ?? Did not like that I opted for standard postage and not recorded, its the customers choice. Never been refused proof of postage before. Unprofessional and rude.
As much as I understand being understaffed and long queues, that didn't bother me. What bothered me is the attitude of a one older gentleman, I get having bad day but this seems his fourth day and not in a row. Sadly he is not approachable and a little snappy for asking a question. It's sad
Seems to shut when it wants to instead of 5:30, 4pm one day, 2pm another day. 1 person on counter even when there are long queues.

Not sure why all the negative reviews, I had quite a decent experience using them, staff were a little "short" with me but considering how mad busy they seem to get I can totally understand. Will probably visit again but staff not as friendly as my local sub po.
Office sign stated closing at 12.00 Website says 13.00got there 11.55,David behind the counter in a angry manner "I'm serving him then I'm shutting "ok we all have off days,but he should have put a sign up ie nobody after 11 30 will be served. One horrible bloke.
I have been trying to telephone Middleton Post Office. But all I keep getting is unnecessary information and nothing to direct me to the right person. Just an automated voice telling me to press buttons that are not applicable.
Been a number of times over the last 2 weeks for a renewal of a driving license photo and there is never anyone there that can do it or the person is off with no one to replace them. Useless place waste of time
