Popped in on the off chance that they had a free table on a Sunday afternoon for Sunday roast and absolutely loved it. Friendly staff and tasty food at a good price. The kids had a children's roast which was sized fine them. Desserts were lovely as well We will be going back!

We had a lovely family meal tonight! Every order was perfect, service was great! There were 24 of us so I was suprised at how well run and well organised everything was. The staff are an absolute credit, so friendly! Wewill booking more family meals again here for sure x
Rang here on 03/03/2023 to book a table as none available online. Spoke to a lovely gent called Michael who couldn't have been more friendly, professional and accommodating. He managed to book a table for 3, at the time required, in a lovely warm spot in the pub. It was lovely to meet Michael on arrival at the pub and he quickly took our food and drinks order and helped me to work my bluelight App to obtain a discount off the food bill. He truly is an asset to this company. The food arrived relatively quickly and was a joy to behold! The meals were tasty, good portions and were hot. So glad we found this gem of a place. We ordered the 15 oz gammon x 2 and mixed grill. My partner commented that it was the best he'd had. I am from Yorkshire visiting my father who lives local. I will definitely be visiting here on my return and would strongly recommend that you visit and you will not be disappointed!
Came in with my son and was greeted by a lovely woman named Joanna, she sorted all our drinks and food out and made sure we were happy and comfortable the whole time. Was very smiley and chatty and made sure my son was happy and occupied. Very approachable and just and amazing staff member always attentive and gave us incredible customer service. Will definitely come back soon!
Had a fantastic meal tonight at The Midday Sun in Coulsdon. Delicious food and such good value. Jamie our barman/server worked so hard, was so attentive and gave us great customer service. We will definitely come back.
The food was okay, nothing spectacular, the staff are very friendly and the prices good! That's why I gave it 3 stars cos the actual running of the place needs work, tables were not cleared once in the time we were there, some tables had plates and glasses on from before our large party of about 16 arrived. Our food was brought out before any cutlery was given. Don't get me wrong we had a great time. Just seems to be run poorly, or maybe it was just an off night as it was during the week
Amazing staff, so kind and genuinely care about the service they give. Under staffed today but they did everything they could to speed up the service and improve my experience. There were a few tables causing an issue but the staff did everything they could to compensate them for the delays. My food came out perfectly and service was great even with the issues today. Would definitely recommend coming here.
Me and my family have been coming here once a month for the past 5 years. The atmosphere and service here is fantastic. I would highly recommend to anyone to come and enjoy a nice meal, and a great night out all for a reasonable price.
We booked a table for 8, we arrived and couldn't find any clean tables. Not the staffs fault, but there were about 6 kids running around screaming shouting for the first hour we were there. When the food arrived it was disappointing, over cooked peas, under cooked chips, just about edible. The staff behind the bar were lovely and did a good job, but not the greatest experience, I doubt we will visit again any time soon.
