Rang up for a quote to swap the wheels over on a car. The chap asked his colleague how much to charge? He said £20 to which he replied 'oh, its a brand new Range Rover better charge more'. He then quoted me £40 + vat. Little did he realise I heard his conversation. Such a blatant attempt at ripping off isn't going to win you any friends

Old school tyre shop aimed at the budget buyer. Don't expect there to be a flurry of activity when you arrive. Even with an appointment. Quickfit this is not. Given it 3 stars as it's local business surviving in a tough economy.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.

I took my girlfriends car here for 2 new back tyres and they gave me a quote then somehow the final bill came to £30 pounds more. They didn't torque the wheel nuts back on causing a rather noisey and scarey sound to come from the back of the car. I told her to take it to a garage thinking it might be the wheel beerings but it wasn't it was worse. Because they didn't secure the wheel nuts properly the wheels almost came of while driving. This could have caused a major accident or even death. do not take you car here unless you are happy to be ripped off or be in a horrific accident.
