Went on the recommendation of a friend. We booked in advance and upon arrival we seated straight away the restaurant was very busy as it was a Saturday night but the staff were still very attentive and the food came out in good time and most importantly was very good. Nice atmosphere and just off the main town square so well located. We will be back

Always have a good meal, service can be a little slow and parking close is often a challenge but overall we will go back. Would recommend the sharing platters. We also noticed the prices had gone up quite a bit from when they first opened, I would say they are slightly on the higher side for this kind of place. 4 of us, 3 alcoholic drinks, no desert was £130 incl.tip

Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Staff are very polite, welcoming, charming and helpful. We went for a quick bite early on a Monday night so the place wasn't very busy but I couldn't fault the service. They left us alone when eating (we hate being bothered 5 times a meal so the wait staff can get their quota of "how's your meal"s in), but they we're always on hand when we needed them and never far away. The meal felt intimate and when I went to the ladies I was shocked to find out how large the place was (we were seated up front, the toilets are towards the back). We would definitely come again.

Absolutely fabulous food.... brilliant atmosphere... friendly service .... amazing aromas from the kitchen.. We can't wait to go back... highly recommend it

My favourite restaurant in Hitchin. Meat is always cooked to perfection. Waiting staff very welcoming and attentive. Food priced very competitively. Can get VERY busy at weekends. Therefore, I would advise booking ahead or try to go on a weekday evening if you are seeking a more intimate meal.
