This evening, we visited this establishment for a pleasant dinner, and we had a great experience. The interior atmosphere was quite elegant and relaxing. The option to sit outside was a nice touch; we enjoyed a peaceful and serene environment in the outdoor seating area.nAlthough the menu didn’t have too many options, the dishes we tried exceeded our expectations in terms of flavor. The food was fresh and carefully prepared. The quality and presentation of the main courses were particularly impressive. There was also a variety of beers available, and I can say they were very fresh, served cold and delicious.nWe experienced a few minor issues with the service; the orders took a bit longer to arrive, and a few small details were missed. However, the staff was polite and attentive, which positively impacted our overall experience. I would also like to mention that the prices were quite reasonable for the quality, offering a good balance of value for both the food and the atmosphere.nIn conclusion, we had a lovely evening with delicious food and a peaceful atmosphere. With a few more menu options, this place could be even more perfect. I definitely recommend it!
Fantastic local pub.nnAgain visited on a whim with friends. From the moment we walked through the door the welcome was phenomenal. The lady who looked after us just knew how to do her job so well.nnThe place itself has lots of area to sit and it just felt like being at home.nnI had the gammon which was salty and delicious and served with a quarter of a pineapple.nnReally excellent food and service.
An alright roast. The mains were good - recommend the veggie wellington. The yorkshires were good too and the unlimited yorkshires and potatoes. The vegetables were a bit hard though and undercooked. Overall it was a good roast but did not blow me away with the high price. The service was really good
Great pub, Sunday roast was excellent. Got the trio roast, recommended by our amazing waitress, Hannah. Service was incredible and Hannah was super helpful! Sticky toffee pudding was great.
My friend and I went for dinner on a Wednesday evening at the Met in Didsbury. Considering it was a week day the atmosphere was very good and it’s a beautiful building that makes you feel at home.nWe had the ribeye steak which was lovely. The onion rings were amazing!nWe were served by Ry that evening and he was absolutely great. We had a lovely time with him and he’s a very pleasant server we couldn’t have asked for better. Nothing was too much trouble.nLook forward to returning. Thank you.
