Great little museum, economically priced, switch really enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff...

Great little museum. Excellent value with lovely informative volunteers. Nice to know a little bit more about the island and its history. Interactive displays and games. Also has a lovely little gift shop too.  Great place for all the family if you have an hour to spare.

What a hidden gem! Fascinating trip into Essex villages & their history. Very reasonable entrance fee too  & I will go back but this time with my reading glasses!!! A lot of information was too small to read.

Want to know more about Mersea and its history then this is for you. Great little museum with really friendly and informative staff. Great way to spend and hour.

Fascinating place with so much history from prehistoric to post second world war!nAdmission is £2 and parking close by, in public carpark is free for 2 hours!!
