Went to visit the castle while Gia was there. While nice to see I was expecting more space exhibits to go with it..nnThe castles usual displays are great. Well laid out and explained.nnAlthough many of the children's interactive activities were missing parts so our children couldn't complete.nnIt was a nice visit over all. With some amazing items on display.

Castle park is a very well maintained park throughout the year. It has plenty of events and beautifully landscaped gardens. Ideal for a nice walk, picnic and enjoying the regular events held there.
A little pricey not even concessions for over 75's. Good information upstairs, there is a lift, for the use of the castle over the ages. Downstairs a little disjointed with items from Dr Who. There is a gift shop and people to give you talks, for a price, on top of the entry fee. Overall, not worth the money, but interesting.
