Right, where do I start!? I first took my car in for its MOT on 2nd July 2016 at the Merry Hill Auto Centre Ltd, located 415 Stourbridge Rd, Brierley Hill DY5 1LB, where it failed due to nearside front Drive shaft which forms part of the suspension coupling gaiter being insecure to the extent that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt, the offside front Drive shaft which forms part of the suspension coupling gaiter was insecure to the extent that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt, the brake valve was apparently modified and seriously weakened, and lastly front Headlamp not working on dipped beam. When they offered to fix my car and told me what needed doing, of course I am a young female who does not know anything about cars so instead of asking my father to do the work for me, as he usually does (and does a pretty damn good job may I add) I agreed to pay the £250 to the Merry Hill Auto Centre for them to fix what they said…which was to include the tracking on the car and the ball joints to what I can remember. I was told my car would be ready to collect a few days later…this didn’t happen, I had to call the centre every day for a week as they were not keeping me updated on my car. The day it was ready for me to pick up, I just called on the off chance on a late afternoon and was told ‘oh yeah it’s ready’….thank you for letting me know! [My car was put through another MOT on the 12th July 2016 by the Merry Hill Auto Centre ltd and passed]. When I arrived to pick my car up I was told to go and take it down a motorway to clear the emissions and settle the tracking!?! Settle the tracking? What?...anyway….I took my car down a main road where I did put my foot down a little, as advised, where I found myself shoot across the other side of the road and onto the footpath! I’m certainly glad I did not listen to the advice of the ‘professionals’ and take it down the motorway as right now I would be 6ft under. Since having my car “fixed” by the Merry Hill Auto Centre…I have had numerous problems…mainly with the tracking of my car and an odd noise coming from where they ‘fixed’ the ball joint on the front drivers side. I took my car to a recommended garage who a few family members use, they advised me that my tracking has ‘not been touched for years’ and had to get a blow torch to loosen the track rod ends? Is that what they’re called!? And that also the ball joints have been put on incorrectly!?!? My question is…not that I will ever get an answer…Why were they put on incorrectly? Was this person new? Even educated in this field? An apprentice? What have I actually been charged for if the tracking was not done and the ball joint was fitted incorrectly!! I would not advise anybody to go to these cowboys, I was even told they were giving me a good deal with the money I was paying. Yes…it was a good deal if the work was carried out by somebody who knew what they were doing. But it’s okay, because I’m still alive just so you know, thankfully.

Took my car to get a basic service when i got my car back clutch was fully gone don't trust this garage they will try rip you off!!!! Avoid!!!!!!!!! pay the extra money go to a decent garage that use qualified staff!!!!!!

I have a Mercedes C63 507 that I have had for the past 3 years and I don't trust anyone touching it except the lads at merry hill autos centre. They always go the extra mile to do other stuff to my car like last time I got my car mot'd and on top they sorted my tracking and filled up my washer fluid and put extra oil in my car. I travel 15 miles from Birmingham to brierly hill just to go to this garage as they are the professionals and really do know what they are doing. I've read another comment on here who has had a bad previous experience but don't get put off I think it's a great place with wonderful customer service.
