Karen provided fantastic service this evening for the TGTG carvery this evening! Very friendly and helpful, serving delicious food and very generous portions, going the extra mile to get us all some more gravy even though it had finished. Thanks to Karen and to all the friendly and helpful staff at the Merry Go Round - first class all round!
Very clean and tidy pub with plenty to offer for a little family meal out.nFood was OK. My daughter loved the carvery.nPlenty of choice with drinks and not too bad price wise.nnLove the wacky warehouse too.nnUpdate- ordered a kids meal with ice cream and drink for £5.48 which I thought was a very good deal! Delivered into wacky for convenience too!
Often visit here with partner and niece. Never had a bad plate of food until now.nnMissing food that was replaced egg for burger and garlic bread from lasagnenFine with miner issue but interrupted food.nnLasagne was so thick with cheese, that i couldn't enjoy it at all. Bland taste in general with undercooked veg in dish that wasnt pleasant at all.nLasagne should be smooth, soft and creamy but was sickly and unpleasant.nLeft salad and garlic bread because I was put off entirely.nnNew Zealand Sauv on menu, not available, so disappointed by that, although very fairly priced if they were to serve it.nnBar person/waiter was brilliant in serving and correcting things missing and apologising. 10 out of 10 to him for service.nn6 out of 10 for place in general. A beautiful pub with beautiful food and out of this world customer service! Just from walking in with my family the staff were so engaging with my children! Nothing was too much and the food was outstanding! Would highly recommend visiting here even if its just for a drink as the building has character and good atmosphere! If I ever holiday here again I'll definitely come back!
