We liked it, but out of the three of us one found a hair in her fries and everything was a bit too greasy. Taste was awesome though!! Definitely worth a try if you want authentic fast food fish and chips! The fish was really tastyFood: 4/5
Fish was great! Deep fried Mars bar was a first - if you love warm, gooey chocolate you can't go wrong with it! Piping hot mushy peas. Lots of regulars came through while I was there. Simple vibe, solid fish!Food: 5/5
Fish and chips here are excellent. Generous portions, fresh and shatteringly crisp. Their chips are also wonderful. Prices are a tad high, but there isn't much choice for good chip shops near the city centre. Charging 40p for a ketchup packet is odd though when other places will chuck a handful in your takeaway bag if you ask.Food: 4/5
Gorgeous, generous portion of well battered fish and decent chip shop chips. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible and they moved a chair so there was space while I waited.
This is a full FIVE STAR for sure! Food is everything, they speak for themselves. Server is friendly and feels very cosy even in winter by the window. You will somehow bypass this shop on your way to the Cathedral anyway, why not just pop in to try.Food: 5/5
The fries weren't ready yet and the Pizza Crunch didn't taste much like anything.Food: 1/5
I must say this is one of the best fish & chips shop here in GLA. They served it piping hot direct from the kitchen . The haddock were fresh & what I liked most is the fish batter ; it is light & crispy & not oily. Their homemade chips are delicious & nice to eat with the vinegar. Food 9/10 Service 8/10 Ambience 8/10 Value for money 7/10 it is quiet a standard price around here ; 7-8 pounds per serving It is a small shop so bear in mind to avoid busy hours in order to get a seat. Nearby the varsity & student accommodations . The shop should give some student discount . Overall will definitely eat there again.
Had my first deep fried mars here. Deep fried pizza and chips and fish were all very good. Same for the curry sauce and mushy peas....the latter were excellent. Top chippy to grab a bite on a few tables or take away.Food: 5/5
Me and my daughter sat in before a show she loved it they had toilets was clean prices very reasonable I would go back thank you it was great well doneFood: 5/5
I had lunch here last week, the setup and atmosphere was okay. Coming to food: fish was flaky and batter was crispy from the edges I liked it but chips were not hot, kinda soggy, and didn't feel like traditional! Service: the lady who took my order and served me was friendly. Another part I didn't that you have to buy mushy peas and tartar sauce separately plus they were not freshly made! All in all I would never visit here again.
