Don’t bother with this garbage - the furniture is all made very cheaply. None of the panels are flat or straight. They’re all warped, which means they don’t line up fixing holes to their fixings. Instructions may as well be in Cantonese, that’s how useful they are. I had to use my own screws and had to make my own fixings so as not to have the hassle of returning this rubbish. Customer service is absolutely terrible. The attitude seems to be that you should expect what you pay for. If you want to return anything, they make you pay for return shipping AND you have to take a whole day off work as they don’t give you a time for collection. Never again.
Disgraceful, corona wardrobe a 2nd. Manufacturing of product 0/10. Scratched,dented,broken bits of wood. Gaps all round, back and front doesn't fit correctly as whole unit not square. Shelving on angle x3 as pre drilled holes in wrong place, gap along bottom as corner of unit protruding. Doors x4 all mis aligned, all handles higher than one another. One door doesnt shut as twisted. Customer service a joke, I'm disabled and suffer chronic pain, had to pay someone to assemble who followed all instructions. Sent images of damage and gaps etc. Wanted me to take images of back which was against wall. Back and forth for hours before they said I could return which meant paying again for someone to take apart box up. I said I'd keep bit wanted money off. Offered £15. Back and forth again, Amazon involved but refused to knock off £50. £25 offered. I can't express how bad it looks. Had to use bigger better screws to reinforce as not stable. At One point they said its due to manufacturing, so they know how bad the products are. Now I'm left with a £350 as paying through finance a complete eye sore. Mercers do not care about quality of there products, other reviews there reply to check all parts first, shouldnt have to check it new or ad i say a 2nd with fought which they still send out, how it affects the buyer. Most upsetting purchase and process I've ever gone through. I FORGOT TO MENTION, NONE OF THE PIECES ARE LETTERED SO LIKE A GIANT JIGSAW PUZZLE. TOOK THE GUYS 5 HOURS. HOLES MISALIGNED, DOUBLE DRILLED. BUY AT YOUR OWN
I ordered a sideboard from Mercer’s and the delivery company that they use were a nightmare on this occasion. But Mercers went above and beyond to remedy it for me and kept in contact until it was delivered. Amazing customer service, which is rare these days. Thank you Mercer’s!
The worst experience with this furniture and with customer support Jayne. Did not bother to read my messages at all and kept giving template one phrase responses.
Great customer service! I had a home delivery but I wasn't in at the time the guy delivered, so he rang me, I spoke to him on the phone and said I've just finished work and that I'll be 20 mins! So he said on the phone that he'll come back after he made a few more deliveries, as he said he's gotta come back this way, He came back within 20 mins after being on the phone to him! As I wasn't sure on when I can have a day off work and having a bank holiday weekend coming up! I really appreciate your friendliness and your great customer service! *****
I have bought several items from Mercers - delivery has always been very quick 1 or 2 days after the order being placed. Even when this didn't happen as one of the items went out of stock, I had 3 people contact me from their customer services team to communicate this to me. This just gave me some more time to build the other items at a leisurely pace ;-. Would highly recommend.
What great customer service! I phoned through my order on Wednesday, and spoke to a very helpful lady. I am thrilled to say my order has just been delivered just 2 days. Who needs to use Amazon when you can speak to someone AND get quick delivery?
Thank you so much Mercer Furniture, my order 2023010404833090243576 was scheduled to arrive between Monday 9th January & Wednesday 11th January. I emailed on Wednesday evening 4th January saying that I have laryngeal cancer and have hospital appointments on the 9th & 11th January. My order came the next day 5th January. Thank you so much Mercer one very happy customer
Shameful company. Ordered furniture from them, received the wrong item, causing me significant inconvenience. Despite this, they haven't offered even a single penny as compensation. AVOID THEM!
Very bad quality and bad customer service. I Purchased full bedroom suite from this company. Furniture items purchased were very poor quality with twisted and split panels Contacted customer service who simply offered 15 pounds compensation off an order that cost me over 700 pounds, other option offered was to disassemble and send back flat pack which was not an option as it was screwed and bonded after explaining that the item could not be disassembled they simply dismissed me saying that was my only option
