I was hoping for a slightly better experience visiting here but left feeling a little disappointed. We came to possibly book a birthday party for our eldest son as he visited with his school and loved it. There is plenty of parking either near the sports cabin or a little further back up the track which is free. The cabin itself is starting to look a little unloved and rickety. The staff were generally friendly but were not very proactive when asking about part options etc. We have a 7 year old son who is too young for the general sports but there was no discussion on options to include him or his friends. We left feeling that we were inconveniencing them slightly. We took a leaflet and did the walk around the lake as the weather was nice for once. It's nice but really just a path for dog walkers as the remaining mess indicated. Upon returning the cafe was little more than a glorified tuck shop and they were holding a meeting in there making it look like a classroom. Considering its not cheap I'd expect a better impression.

The little water sports club is great. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices.

A lovely place to walk, nice countryside, a beautiful lake on which people can do watersports, huge area from which you can walk to other nearby country fields.
