Lovely abbey very well preserved for a ruin. I wish we could see it in its day and full glory. The tiny stairs that bring you up to the roof are a must ..the view is gorgeous!

Very impressive ruin from Henry V111 dissolution of the monasteries. Great views from the roof and even a gargoyle of a bigpipe playing pig! Helpful, friendly staff.

Expensive for what's there. Nice clean toilets but didn't find any disabled. Not very good for disabled generally. Rear of Abbey grass not cut & ground uneven. Nearly fell over several times

It's well done but not the most exciting place. Melrose is a cool little town. It a nice break from the city.

An amazing place to walk around with so much history.this was our second visit to explore round the abbey and grounds 😊
