I walked in on my way to pick up my car and was very impressed. I was met by a very bubbly, polite, Portuguese girl who sat me at a table instantly. It wasn't really hot inside and it had a great vibe. I had my soda water which was free, and ordered within 3 minutes. The food took about 10 minutes and was presented nicely. The onion rings were really tasty and the burger was cooked perfectly. The only gripe that I have is that I don't like restaurants that put gratuity on for me. I like to give tips as I feel it's more personal and makes the staff feel more valued. Other than that 10/10, keep up the good work.
Used to be quite a fan of the food and this time it was not bad but I preferred it when there were more wings in a portion even though the wings themselves were smaller. There was a group of us and we decided to split the bill equally between us, and as we were calculating this, the waiter suggested we round each payment up by a few pounds per person he did that by suggesting a number that was higher than what would be an equal split. Normally I would round it up to the nearest pound anyway for ease, I thought it was a bit cheeky to suggest we should pay even more but my friends were too polite and agreed - assuming we’re already paying the usual service charge that was already on the bill anyway? If it’s not already included automatically then my bad. The service wasn’t even that amazing anyway, sure we were a largish group 7 people but it wasn’t busy that evening.
MEATliquor has been my favourite place to have burgers since I first tried 2 years ago. I’ve tried different locations but sadly I wasn’t impressed by the flavours today. The chips which are my absolute favourite were way too salty. We had the buffalo chicken and the clustercluck and both of these were also extremely salty today. I am so glad I got the milkshake with it otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to eat at all.
Great place to visit for a burger. Table service is great and the staff are very friendly/helpful. If it’s a sunny/warm day there is outdoor seating but if it’s chilly there are also a few outdoor heaters. Great vibe, great food and interesting selection of drinks.
The whole dining experience here was excellent. The staff are very friendly and attentive, they also answered all the questions we had about menu items right away. The food was absolutely delicious, the Dead Hippie burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had and the Mac and cheese bites are insane! The drinks were just as nice with a fantastic section of soft drinks, cocktails etc. Service was incredibly quick and the decor inside is different than normal places, but it fits in nicely with the atmosphere of the place. Overall it was an amazing experience and I'm looking forward to coming back again when I'm next in London. Would give 6* for also being very lgbt friendly :
A great place for burger lovers with a great variety of options and toppings. The drinks selection is very extensive and the milkshakes are worth a try. Some interesting vegetarian and vegan options also. Well located in the shopping centre and close to the cinema.
That was one tasty burger! Seriously, the name says it all: downing a beautifully sour cherry cocktail and being served beautiful meaty goodness in some very funky decor and super helpful and dog-friendly staff makes this an awesome place to unwind and fill up!
I order tower burger and hot spicy fries. Food is okay, the meat is dry and sauce combination is not great. But the waiter service is good and I like the photo booth area need to pay for £5 to get the picture. The toilet is dark and scary, I won’t go downstairs alone in the evening to be honest.Recommended dishesBurger
Meatliquor changed the game years ago when it was launched. The long queues to get in and the amazing food. Sadly this branch doesn’t hit the mark. The dead hippie was perfect as usual however everything else was below average. The cocktails were full of ice and the straws were too slim to drink through properly. The buffalo fries were soggy and the wings were just not as good as years ago. Overall we were a bit disappointed at how the quality had dropped
Food was fine but paying £4 for “Salt and Pepper Fries” which are literally just fries with salt and pepper on is an utter con. Waitress had never heard of actual salt and pepper fries when complaint was made. Simple google by the owners would show what salt and pepper fries actually are. Also add a service charge on with no way to remove, won’t be returning.
