Had an absolutely wonderful time staying in Monty's Yurt for 6 nights. A fabulous location and just a short drive from a variety of lovely beaches. Monty is really kind and so helpful even bringing in our washing one day when we were out and it poured down. Our kids aged 5, 3 and 1 loved the novelty of staying in a yurt and toasting marshmallows around the firepit on an evening. I really recommend Monty's Yurt - we made such wonderful family memories while on holiday there. Thanks, Monty! X
Great gem of a campsite. Formerly part of an old airbase. Pitches are spaced apart, plenty of room and divided by trees and bushes to protect from wind and provide privacy. Facilities are good and it's not a crowded site. Monty the owner very helpful. Half an hour walk to Little Haven for pubs.
This site is a simple yet very quiet location that exudes peace and quiet. My spot for the night was perfect and I decided to stay for 3 nights and use it as a base. Showers were clean and functional and the site is based on an old WWII air field and the various bays are used as camping spots. The site is run by Monty, who is a delight to chat with and has many excellent stories that deserve the time of day. I hope to return for a night or two in the autumn.
We stayed in Monty's Yurt, for a glamping treat through quality unearthered website. Yurt was huge, with its own separate bathroom and kitchen. Lovely sunny spot. Private site, well run and Monty was wonderfully helpful. Great base for exploring area.
Monty an excellent host. Even let us help ourselves to his home grown tomatoes. Very tasty. Private, large pitches. Spotlessly clean toilets and showers. Great location to explore coastal paths. Broad Haven and Little Haven in easy reach.
Unfortunately we did not have the same experience as other campers seem to have had at this campsite. Not recommended if you are a group of over 2 people as you will not be welcome. Monty was very rude to us whilst being there. I know it must be stressful running a campsite alone but there are more polite ways of dealing with people other than shouting at them. Perfect if travelling alone or as a couple, stay away if you are a large group or if you have kids.
Lovely quiet spot. Owner couldn't have been more helpful. Definitely going back.
All you could wish for at the yurt. Fab kitchen and bathroom facilities a private location. Loved it. Thanks Monty.
