Very much off the beaten track with many miles of small windy roads to reach it. The toilet/shower block is adequate, however while they provide hand soap, and sponges for washing up, they don't provide toilet paper, hand towels, or washing up liquid. Showers and taps run hot quickly, though the showers are on a short push-button timer. I'm sure the view is lovely, unfortunately when I was there the weather was miserable and the tent field offers NO protection from the wind that came howling in from the sea, which made for a very cold night - luckily my tent was still standing in the morning!

Great site, everything you want, clean toilets, hot water in the showers, and nothing else but great Welsh countryside.

We spent a lovely week on the site in early July before the weather broke for the rest of the summer. The views are great, and the best feature is that it is only a short walk (less than half a mile) to the beach at Druidston Haven which in our opinion is one of the two best in Pembrokeshie, the other being Marloes Sands. The only building is a hotel on the cliff top which affords excellent views of the beach and sunsets. The hotel serves excellent beer and average food, although service wasn't great.
On the downside, the site is approached via several miles of narrow twisty roads which do not inspire confidence when towing. Worse still, the final bit entails an unmade lane with potholes and an appalling 50 metre stretch over rocks which feels awful, even solo, and has to be traversed twice every day if you leave the site. On the journey home my car suffered expensive suspension failure which we felt was likely brought on by this approach. For this reason alone, we will not be returning to this site.
Do not expect a "welcome in the hillsides". The couple who run it keep very much to themselves although Kate was very pleasant and approachable.
So, pluses and minuses. The toilets were fantastic, a nice bonus although you have to supply your own toilet paper and soap.

Amazing location, views of the sea. Really friendly owners and spotless showers /toilets. Lots of space even mid August in the sun.
