We are very happy with our new loft conversion. We had three quotes before choosing Mitch, and found that he was the only one of the three to recommend a different design to the one we had in mind, in order to optimise space and create a nicer-looking exterior with a pitched-roof wraparound dormer. MCS were able to construct a very large en-suite bathroom with space for both a bath and a full-height shower, which we hadn't thought would be possible. Mitch was quite innovative in his design and also suggested a layout for the stairs which didn't block our existing hallway window. He was flexible in changing the plans as the project progressed. Mitch and the team were pleasant to have around the property and always turned up with a smile and a good sense of humour. We found them to be trustworthy and friendly and would happily recommend them.
MCS completed our 2 bed/1 bathroom loft conversion in August 2020 and we are so happy with the space and the quality of the finish. I can honestly say that we can’t fault a single thing. We were worried that we would be spending a few months living in a mess but the team covered everything up at the beginning of the day and cleaned up any mess at the end of the day to ensure that we could still live comfortably in the house. Mitch has a great eye for detail and sets himself a high bar for the way things should look and keeps a close eye on the team to ensure quality workmanship. Mitch was also able to offer some great advice to help us make decisions at different stages of the project. Mitch is a great Project Manager and ensured all trades were programmed to arrive as soon as each stage was reached to ensure there were no lost days. It definitely helps that Mitch has very strong relationships with his Contractors who mentioned that they usually prioritise his projects, and as they have all worked together for years it’s comforting to know that all the trades are ‘tried and tested’. The MCS team are all really friendly and it was a pleasure to have them around, they are all dedicated and hard working and even on scorching hot days they did not falter. They are all eager to do a good job and I feel we had a great relationship with all of them throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending MCS for their professionalism, seamless project planning and quality finish!! We are really enjoying the new space and are thankful to Mitch and his team for making it happen! PS: Bacon sandwiches or a fry up go down really well with the team on a Friday!!
I am delighted with my loft conversion provided by Mitch and his crew. Mitch did an excellent job of managing the project from design through to build, all delivered within budget and on time, which included all the 'extras' I asked for. Mitch kept me informed daily of what was happening and when. Everyone associated with the project was very professional, friendly and helpful'. We have just had a loft conversion done by Mitch and his team comprising of new Bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Despite the upheaval and mess such a large project consists of Mitch's team were brilliant. We were not sure of how the layout was going to be initially but Mitch was very good in offering solutions & Ideas along the way, the schedule and budget was agreed in advance, which was completely on target. Thankfully no major issues to report and the end result has totally blown us away. The building team were very friendly, considerate and conscientious throughout and cleaned up at the end of each day including a hell of a lot of vacuuming! We missed their daily arrival once everything was done including the signing along to the radio! Would highly recommend and cannot thank the team enough to turn something we have been thinking about for a number of years into a reality.
We are thrilled with our loft conversion. Mitch and his crew were amazing from the start to the end of the project! They took care of every small detail, turned up on time every day, cleaned-up after themselves, were friendly, highly professional and finished the project on schedule plus on budget. Excellent company and if we have any further building projects then we would use them again!
