Story

McParland's of Newry Northern Ireland has over 35 years high street retail experience, specialising in an extensive range of quality giftware, home accessories, furniture and hardware. You can rest assured of excellence at McParlands!

On 11th February 2006, McParlands store in Monaghan Street Newry, was completely gutted by fire! We had suffered a flood a few years before, but this was no doubt the most difficult time in our history. With the help and support of friends, family, customers and business associates, we rose from the ashes to reopen with a brand new showroom, and we have gone from strength to strength ever since.

McParlands.com is the latest venture of our family business and we aim to build as successful a store online as we have on the high street - with your help of course! So please enjoy browsing through our website, and we hope to see you again instore too!

G Today I went to B&Q in search of a weed and moss sprayer that I could carry but they were out of them and they sent me to McParlands. They sold me what I wanted and set it all up for me. They directed me to the nearest way to getting back on the motor-way and home. I definately will shop with them again. Thank you for being concerned or was it curiousity!! MB

This is the only place you need to go.... Great family business... They know how to treat their customers... If Gary or Jonathan can't get what you want, nobody can.... Forget the big multi nationals shop local...
Top class family run business. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Do not be afraid to ask the staff questions because nothing is a hassle for them. Great selection of hardware materials and tools. The only spot to buy BBQ's in the town.
