Being our first experience of purchasing a property in England having moved to Tunbridge Wells from Scotland, we were extremely impressed by the thoroughness, attention to detail and efficiency provided on our behalf by Lauren Wilson and her team. We were given detailed information every step of the way and felt Lauren and her team were very approachable and dealt diligently with any queries we had.

Dodgy practices. Incompetent junior solicitor will be put on your case who will make mistakes, claim to have spent time on the case while it's obvious he hasn't (wouldn't remember the most basic facts). They contradict their own words like you can't imagine. When I complained, they admitted their failure. Quote: "Having carefully reviewed the file I find that McMillan Williams Solicitors Limited has failed to provide you with an adequate service in this matter" And YET they REFUSE to refund the money they have taken from your client account without your permission, for outrageous overcharged bills that have been raised dishonestly and wrongly in the first place. Stay away from them by all means.

McMillan Williams recently did the conveyancing on my sale and purchase. Susan Thomas (Bath office) was fantastic. Took the time to explain everything to me, helped to put me at ease and gave me the confidence I could trust her and the team to do the job. Also, would recommend Catherine Lewin, who quickly arranged our Deed of Trust ensuring everything was completed on time. Would recommend and definitely use again.
