Not great, I think this reflected in my first 2 Star review… Service haphazard, meal warm at best, chips half empty. I will expand on all of that, firstly I arrive and it’s busy, this is to be expected as it’s lunchtime in Guildford and there are lots of school kids in there, so I’m expecting not to get served my meal straight away, whilst ordering I decide to go for a large for value for money. I stand in the ever expanding queue waiting for my number to be posted on the screen to collect, my number comes up but when I get to the front of the queue they are calling numbers that aren’t even on the board. The only reason I know to wait is because lots of other customers are going up saying they have been waiting a while and their numbers aren’t even on the board. So I can’t blame the staff for this, it’s obviously someone further up the chain that needs to fix the board. It was just causing chaos. Weirdly because you can’t see the kitchen it makes it more frustrating as you just see people with bags of food walk past you and disappear. I get my food, before quite a few others, despite customising my burger not to have onions in, which came as a surprise. I go upstairs and find a table straight away, the tables are clean and there is someone doing a good job of cleaning and making sure the bins are empty etc, this was probably one of the only plus points. I open my meal to find my chips aren’t full to the brim as usual but 2/3rds maybe full, so not much point going for a large as I definitely wasn’t after the larger Diet Coke. I open my burger and there is the most measly amount of sauce in which is placed off to one side of the burger, not much point going for the big tasty after all. Then comes the most disappointing part, the burger is Luke warm at best, which considering it’s a custom burger is also a surprise, the chips are slightly better, but not by much. I’m not expecting fine dining from a Maccy D’s but this was a very substandard experience. I won’t be going back in a hurry. Oh and finally, I stated eat in on the ordering machine and it came in a bag, didn’t bother me to much, but worth mentioning.
It is very easy to place orders through the touch screens displayed but it takes ages to get the food delivered. Fries are not crispy and not hot at all. Complained twice and not yet improved. Staffing are not proportion to the number of costumers which makes customers to wait a lot. There are two other McDonald nearby if you go to friary centre, you have faster service and better sitting area
I am a visitor from HK. I observe that yr staff Mr Farhan is very hard working . He always maintain the shop very clean and very polite with smile
Don't waste your money ordering from this McDonald's off Uber, as they just leave orders on the side I waited 25min for a big mac meal in store and these orders just sit there piling up going stale and cold, Absolutely disgusting practices. Now charging 10p for the Standard sauces Chips come half full, my big mac burgers was dry and had hardy no Sauce or lettuce How can they send someone's order out after its Stone cold and Been sitting around for half an hour? Absolutely terrible food nowhere near McDonald's standard, Head office needs to investigate this store
Food was re-heated as was chewy, they charge for ketchup now and they did not include ketchup with meals. Tables dirty on 1st floor and cleaner standing looking at the stars......Food: 1/5
Absolutely shocking will never go here again and glad I don’t live here and have to use this place quarter pounder was dripping with grease and I mean dripping out the carton. They didn’t even have fries available!!!! Shocking
So this is the chips I received, with my uber eats order, how is this even possible?? They must do it purposely as some sort of weird joke, plus the drinks was flat and warm and half empty, and the big mac was so dry I couldn't even eat it, don't waste your money
For the price, this is great.. we had the family suite, the kids loved it.. nice size room. The pool is nice, little on the small side but most importantly needed to be warmer. It’s not a pool you can swim in to get warm so needs to be at least 32 to be comfortable. Especially as it’s Easter break, just turn up the heat for 2 weeks ‍
We ate here in the evening and the dining area was shut so we sat in the window but away from the machines so people could order. A few others did the same. We were then asked by security to move on, they were quite aggressive and we were very offended. We won't go there again on principle. Food was also cold but serving staff were friendly and helpful and replaced the cold item
Ordered my food with half an hour to go until my last train. They delayed so long that I ended up missing my last train and being stranded in guildford. Absolutely shocking how does it take you half an hour to make a ready made burger.
