I have NEVER I mean NEVER HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE experience at the McDonald’s than the one I had in derby ny, started off horrible in the drive thru window, she asked if we were using the app, we said, no and she responded rudely what do you want?! breakfast give us a sec, and she talked over us and rudely said “ well, I don’t know what YOU want!!! “ I had shared at that point that she was not being kind, and not using good customer service. We got to the window and everything was ok, she needed to make more coffee and had us pull up, she brought out the coffee and was trying to give a bigger coffee than ordered…we said no thank you, we ordered a med for a reason….she started screaming because we addressed he rudeness at the speaker. She went back inside and never came back with our coffee so I went in and she started screaming and wouldn’t stop telling us we are extremely rude people. I told her I’ve never been treated so rudely in my life. I asked another employee to get me a medium coffee. She was still screaming when I left.
I hate doing a 1 star, but I need to warn people. About 25% of my fries tasted like they were made with rotten grease; I'm familiar with this taste; it was super gross, and I spit some out. This has never happened to me at a McDonald's before. I'm not in the area long, but I definitely don't plan on coming back.
What is not good that you could say about mcdonald's, I'm still looking, almost everyone I've been to his very impressively similar , there is one though in Buffalo on Niagara Street between Ontario and Hertel drama food is not so great sometimes and you're going to wait wait wait whether you're in line at the drive-thru or standing at the counter, that's why I go for a nice drive 20 minutes away get to see the scenery and have a better experience at the McDonald's on Route 5 in Derby Angola.
Drive through for big mak meals was as were to be expected. Food was hot and waters were cold. Service was very quick at the drive through.Food: 4/5
Ice Cream machine is always broken every time we stop by. This is one time too many. They can do without our business and by the looks at the multiple negative reviews they don't do much business at all.Food: 2/5
Very lazy. No toys in kids meals, I ordered two cheeseburgers I always want everything on them but I got one with no ketchup mustard onion or pickle on it and the other one only mustard and ketchup so weird and just not a good McDonald’sFood: 1/5
I've been to this location several times. I've NEVER EVER COMPLAINED!!! UNTIL today at around 10:40pm . I had ordered a cold plain cheeseburger and also I ordered a medium strawberry/banana smoothie. I absolutely love them,except this time it had really odd taste to it,like it was going bad your mix? And tasted like it had a light alcohol taste like it was fermented or the worker had to add something else to it? Idk I would appreciate it if I can be compensated for something I threw away. The following is a post on FB from an old colleague of mine. Is there any reason for treating her and her "service dog" with such disrespect? Do you also treat Veterans the same way with their guide dogs? McDonald in Derby NY Today, I met my aunt for breakfast at McDonalds in Derby, NY. My guiding eye dog was with me and just laying on the floor next to me…well behaved! He is clean, groomed and well behaved in restaurants. I am legally blind with little vision left. I sat in a booth next to the window. There was only 1 -2 customers while I was there. The aisle was very wide! The oldest lady working there supervisor, I think, says to me to sit in the back next time I come because my guide dog is in the aisle….but laying next to me. I pulled him tightly next to me even though…he was NOT blocking. My aunt even was shocked. The lady continued to tell me to sit in the back next time. I told her nicely, she cannot tell me where to sit, my guide dog is doing what he’s supposed to. He is not blocking the aisle and is allowed to be here. She continued to escalate. I explained the police will tell her the same thing. The lady continued escalating to a point saying, go ahead, call the police. Because she was very unpleasant, we got up calmly to leave and I explained calmly, she can easily get fired if I report it to McDonald’s corp. The young staff was saying it’s a safety issue. I’ve been through training and understand the law for guiding eye dogs. He was not blocking the pathway. The oldest lady was yelling at me saying “go ahead and get me fired…don’t ever comeback herel My aunt and I walked out with my guide dog. I was very upset as the only 2 places for me to walk to independently, is McDonalds and Bagel place. I never had ANY issues elsewhere. I’ve been to Paneras, diners, restaurants, even this McDonalds 4 different times with my guide dog this year. I called and reported this issue to McDonalds Corporation. I am asking for everyone to support me about this action by McDonald in Derby NY. I grew up here. The behavior of this staff was out of line as I tried to explain the American Disability Act.
The worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. I’ve waited over 25 minutes multiple times for simple orders.Food: 1/5
Clean enough location and the food is good enough this is McDonalds, you know what to expect. However, the service around lunch/dinner is sloooooow. I have frequently had 20-30 minute drive thru waits with only 2-3 meals.Food: 3/5
