Popped into McDonald's the other day, and honestly, I should’ve just gone home and asked the cat to make me a sandwich. At least then I’d know what to expect.nnThe burgers looked like they’d been assembled during an earthquake—buns all over the place, sauce smeared like modern art, and lettuce clinging on for dear life. As for the temperature? Let’s just say the only thing colder than the food was the staff’s response when I complained.nnSpeaking of complaints, I was politely informed that “it’s normal” for the food to be cold and look like a dog’s dinner. Normal? If this is normal, I dread to think what happens when they’re having an off day. Maybe they just fling the food straight at you from the kitchen?nnHonestly, McDonald’s, you’re supposed to be fast food, not slapdash food. It’s called a Happy Meal, not a What the Hell Happened Here Meal. Sort it out!
This place is just inconsistent in food and service but never reaching a good, just fluctuates between poor and average. Last visit sat at the drive through window waiting for my order to be taken whilst 2 vehicles who arrived after me had their order taken on the adjacent intercom. Eventually got served and following the obligatory wait in the car park about 10 min food is 50/50 whether it's ready my order came and again not unusual when I got home items were missing and the burgers look like someone stands at the side and literally throws items into a bun. I would like to say this is a one off but it is the standard of this restaurant. It has gotten worse since the amount of delivery drivers at this place. They consistently restrict access to the site, then if you have gone inside to order they barge up to the counter demanding their orders and leave their insulated bags all over as a trip hazard even to a point of placing them around you if you have been so rude as to stand where they like to congregate. Hint Check items before you leave.
Popped in after visiting the beach, ordered a coffee and a Hot chocolate, or should I say, a cup of brown hot water!! No sign of any chocolate.nThis wasn't the worst thing, I attempted to use the loo, and the stench! Was unreal, so bad in fact I literally could not go in! My husband said the gents was the same, I asked a lady who was in the corridor, who worked there if there was a problem, and she said, oh yeah it is bad, it's the drains, she was very nice and obviously not her fault. But seriously Mcdonald, this place is a disgrace, and the fact it requires a security guard is screaming red flags
Have to wait over 15 mins far too often because they're busy fulfilling home delivery orders before in-store or drive through orders. Far too many delivery drivers crowding the counter area and many are rude and harassing to staff.nStaff don't seem to care when they eventually hand you cold food and often the order is wrong.
Friendly staff. One member noticed through the serving window I had been crying before I got there and instantly asked if everything was alright and if I needed anything before offering me some tissues and some kind words. Many would not have approached this/pretended not to notice this to avoid any potential awkwardness with customers
