Tried this place for the first time on 5 October. Nice clean place which has just been refurbished. There is a small PAYD car park at the rear. Ordered the Sabir special burger. The chicken was a bit cold, overall the burger was ok, although they should ask if you want mayonnaise and they didn’t. The peri peri fries was ok. It’s a little pricey for what you get as the portions are small. The review is 3.5 but have rounded it up to 4 as I’ll be going back again to try some more of the menu. The menu screen is hard to read and changes display just as you begin to focus on it.
ask for Rohaan and you won't go wrong here, guided us through the menu swiftly and helped us to decide which burgers to order. Burgers and pizzas is where it at. Will be visiting here again next were in Rotherham.
The issues Sabirs had Earlier this year seem to have vanished now. The food is really good quality and consistently cooked to a very high standard. I have tried most of the takeaways in Rotherham and i have to say that Sabirs is the best in my opinion. Small niggle: close at 10.50 through the week.
Absolutely shocking. Usually this place is great, went in to order a takeaway today, waited 15 minutes there were 3 people in the restaurant and left with cold food only after we had gone to ask where, said food was. Where was it? Literally sitting and waiting on a shelf, while the lass on the register had her milkshake. Worst service ever. Probably would have been faster and warmer had I ordered online for a delivery, but it's just not worth it anymore. Had we not asked where the food was, only the Lord knows how long we would have waited, and after a 9 hour shift, 25 minutes and leaving with cold food is not acceptable. I should have checked the food inside, I know but please understand how tired and hungry and impatient I was, my mother actually had to ask about the food as I had lost my patience 10 minutes into sitting
Amazing food, great service
Terrible customer service, placed order online and when I went to pick up I was told it'll be a couple of minutes, eventually half an hour later it was ready, but I had to ask 3 times for my order to be chased up. Staff are not welcoming and need to be trained on how to deliver a professional service.
Went to Sabirs twice and on both occasions it was terrible. First time the chicken was cold and the wait was so long for the 2 nan bread that we ordered. Also why cut the nan in 4 pieces don't get that? We complained to the waiter serving us upstairs but nothing happened. We took a friend out locally to Sabirs today and the food was worse. They charge £6.99 for a small piece of steak chicken no bun etc. The fries were cold had to get the waiter to bring fresh ones. We waited over 20mins for 2 nan breads after making three trips downstairs to remind the staff but bye this time now the chicken is cold. The service at Sabirs is terrible waited over 25mins and prices are too expensive. Not even a drink with £6.99 steak chicken which we had to buy seperate!!! How shocking. Will never go to sabirs again rip off takeaway.
Ha, last time I'm going in. 22/10/2022 @ 12:35. The place is a joke. Young kid with glasses slim looking, had a proper nasty attitude on him on ordering my scran over phone to collecting it. I'm baffled, that he wanted to charge me to put paprika on my chips and not charge me for having an extra paper bag which costs around 20p each!! I also ordered one burger with chips and one burger with wedges, but in return i got 2 burgers with chips. Too busy facking around with kitchen staff than looking after your customers orders.
so i rang 25mins prior to going for a collection got to place and seemed like there was no recollection of my order. waited another 20minutes to get my food. they ended up giving my food and the chips were cold! ended up at nando's. these guys are normally on point. disappointed.
I went for the first time to Sabirs never heard of it before but went with a friend and my brother. I didn't know what to expect or what they served when I entered but all I knew was I was hungry. So a quick glance at the menu it was mix between burgers, steaks and grill food. I opted for the Abidin Classic Smash Burger Meal which was £8.40. We ordered and went a found seating on the second floor. The wait time was around 15mins and the food arrived. I tucked into the burger and I must say it was a very nicely made smash burger flavourful, the meat was fresh and it was satisfying as I have msde smashed burgers before it was very good it wasnt the best I have ever had but I would definitely order again. The fries was thin cut french fries and were crispy and salted well perfectly cut, the sauces were good too Mint Sauce and Chilli sauce seemed to be made in house. The only thing I would say is that they had only a small selection of drinks and no Coca Cola I opted for a pepsi. Good work they were very busy too and I can see why. Great munchies guys thumbs up
