'Quick' trip tomthe drive thru for 3 cheeseburgers and a happy meal took at least 10 minutes of waiting once ordered. When we got home about 3 minutes later, everything was luke warm at best and stone cold at worst. The best part was that my cheeseburger looked like it had jumped out of an aeroplane with no parachute. It was almost fully deconstructed and there was sauce everywhere. This McDonalds has a terrible reputation in Ilkeston and it's nice to see that the staff are doing their best to keep that reputation going. I did complain to the chatbot and got a £5 voucher for my next disappointment though.
Dear Sir/Madam,nnI am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the extremely poor level of customer service I experienced this evening when contacting your restaurant on Rutland Street in Ilkeston.nnI called the restaurant politely requesting a specific toy from the current Friends promotion, as I have been trying to collect the Friends-themed toys for my nephew. I have previously made similar requests with this branch and have spent a considerable amount of money there purchasing in order to collect these toys. On previous occasions, the staff have been polite and accommodating.nnHowever, during this call I was met with an incredibly rude member of staff who stated he was one of the managers. When I politely asked if it would be possible to receive one of the toys I do not yet have, he abruptly told me that this was not possible and insisted the toys are distributed at random. I explained that I have called before to request a particular toy due to repeatedly receiving the same one, and that staff had previously assisted with this request.nnWhen I mentioned that the toys are displayed on the box and therefore identifiable, he dismissed my comment, continued to speak to me in a rude and unhelpful manner, and then hung up the phone on me.nnI called back and asked to speak to a manager. The same individual answered again and claimed he was the manager,It was clearly the same person as before as I could tell due to his accent. He once again refused to assist me, spoke to me rudely, and proceeded to hang up the phone on me for a second time.nnAfter spending a significant amount of money at this restaurant over time, I find this level of treatment completely unacceptable. Being spoken to in such a dismissive and disrespectful manner, and having the phone put down on me twice, is extremely unprofessional and reflects very poorly on the standards that customers expect from McDonald’s.nnNo customer should be treated in this way by a member of staff, let alone someone claiming to be a manager. I would appreciate this matter being investigated and for appropriate action to be taken. I would also appreciate a response explaining how this issue will be addressed to ensure other customers are not treated in the same manner.
Very good food. Added special sauce into my fourth Big Mac- chunky, sticky and white, could use less salt. Great place, one of the workers offered a discount if I stayed in the bathroom with the lights of for 10 minutes with him. I felt weird, but free food was worth it!! I will recommend this to my kids!
I ordered 4 meals for delivery.nThe driver went past the house - number 122 - and parked outside 68. I had to ring him Uber Eats to get him to backtrack.nPackages delivered but one of three burgers was missing.nTried the help on the appnIt got part way and dumped the comments and photo of receipt.nRang the restaurant - hung on for about 6 minutes but no answer.nTried ringing the driver but the call cannot be connected.nThe burger quarterpounder cost £6.09nThere was a delivery charge plus I foolishly put in a 10% tip for the driver.nI shall get someone to take me into Ilkeston and I shall ask for a refund. That doesn’t help the grandchild with no dinner at all. Having spent the day at hospital with a broken arm I had thought a sneaky treat meal was a good plan. Instead I’ve been ripped off and upset a child.
If you’re in a hurry, I wouldn’t bother even attempting to use this outlet.nnIt’s quicker to drive to another town to get served.nnThe queues for the drive through don’t seem to move and the subsequent traffic prevents anyone from using the car park.
