This place seemed to be having issues the morning of my visit 07/07 06:50am. A whole delivery was outside in the sun and it appeared that there were only two staff working to try to fulfill the orders. The staff did their best but with only two of them I had to wait 15 minutes before receiving my breakfast. The manager strolled in at 07:10 and finally started moving the delivery inside.
Don't believe the 1* review lies... Just had 5* experience. No queue, quick service, knowledgeable server. In and out less than 5 mins with cheap and delicious food. Cost me 10.07 for a late night snack. Don't believe the haters. Haters gonna hate.Food: 5/5
Atmosphere is what it is, a fast food joint. Not much to be expected. Certainly kept clean enough most of the time. Staff are very friendly when chatting or being served but tend to ignore you when you're at the counter and have to shout over to get someone's attention but always very apologetic. I think they assume anyone near the counter is waiting for their order though. Not to take away from as I said very friendly, helpful smiley despite being busy or under pressure. Keep their cool and seem to thrive in it and always happy to help. Some of the staff stand out as exceptional customer service provider's and that should be noted. Service always with a smile. The food is good. Hot and fresh. Never had any issues. Kudos to the chefs . Asset to the mcdonalds chain and a far cry from the awful stories you hear about makes this mcdonalds head n shoulders above other branches. Give em a wee Christmas bonus
Ordered and paid through mobile app. Mobile app applied the discount. When I have been for collection, staff asked me to pay the discount price. It's clearly mentioned as discount in the order bill. They insist me to pay and I said no. After few minutes they agreed. Also, They have missed my dip selections.Food: 3/5
Went in as I was travelling late made an order inside two the main things were missing from my order which equates to about £8. Didn't realise until I was on the motorway more to the point shouldn't have to double check an order is correct.
If you like cold saggy fries and food that looks like nothing on the menus photos then grab a Mcdees... and a 25 minute wait for that little extra.Food: 1/5
Typical Mcds food, we didn't want to use the large touch screens but we're told you have to use them even if you want to pay cash, seems you place your order on the screen then cancel the payment then pay at the till. Seems a bit of a faf. Quicker paying by card, hello to a cashless society Parking: Can get busy but use the overflow spaces adjacent to Mcds.
Juice half empty and freezing cold chips. Rip off juice clearly the halfwit on the juice can see it only half full. If I'd not been back at the house they would get it back
I was not allowed to order at a desk from a member of staff but was defaulted to a screen and had to explore my way through ordering when I am unfamiliar with the food or menu. I was quite frustrated. Very impersonal experience. My order number was then displayed as ready but it was not ready. I'm sure the staff were nice but I had very little opportunity to engage with them after being pushed to the screen. I really felt like a commodity and alone ordering my food. Food was okay but not great but I guess the experience had adversely affected by taste.
We didn't have a great meal at McDonald's as the chips were from the heater and the chicken burger was small the only thing good was the milkshakes and the apple pieFood: 1/5
