Sometimes the burgers come out very flat like they have been squashed to hold together. It can't really be called fast food when the average wait is 20 minutes both inside or at drive through. Best to avoid at meal times and go early or late. Staff are friendly and it is a tidy venue generally.Recommended dishesMcplant
Every time I eat from there is some kind of disappointment. Either they take ages I’m currently stuck in the restaurant and have been for 15 mins waiting on a double cheeseburger or they forget items like sauce or like the last time when I ordered chicken nuggets and got a Big Mac instead…. The food is usually consistent with the McDonald’s taste, I’ve never had a bad meal from there, just the wrong ones or late or cold

Ours was a click and collect order from the app. Restaurant and car park incredibly busy. Order took roughly 15 mins to arrive after enquiring where it was. Can’t fault the customer service though - was apologetic and food was generally well heated so hadn’t been sitting around for ages.
The location is a bit hidden away, but with Lidl and Morrison's either side, gets plenty of customers. We had a late morning eat in breakfast here. It was fairly quiet and we ordered at the counter, although they have three order screens too. Our order was taken by a very friendly American guy, which added a touch of authenticity to the experience. Our meals were brought to our table in just over five minutes. The food was hot, well cooked and tasty. Inside seating is mostly tables with fixed benches without any cushions. However they are surprisingly comfy. There's also a few high tables with padded stools to sit at too. Toilets were modern and clean, and disabled facilities are available too. The car park is compact and has around 40 spaces. It is on a slope. There's a drive through lane with a height of 2.6m. This is often more popular than eat in, and was busy when we were there.
It was a 7 min car journey from our guest house. It was busy - slow service. Car park is too tight to get in and out in a timely manner. Drive through queue blocks you in. I got back to our guest house with our food within 6 mins. Chips were soggy and cold. Burgers and wrap were the usual good standard. Then they had not given me my wife’s Big Mac - I was fuming. I drove back and the lad just got me a new one, handed it to me and said nothing. No sorry or nothing….. disappointing experience to say the least!
Staff are perfectly pleasant to talk to however seem completely incapable of bagging orders up correctly. Tonight is yet another occasion where I’ve got home to find there’s something missing from the bag.
Awful, drove 5 miles back and found 2 burgers missing, called in the next day to be told I should of rang the night before as that's policy.... sorry I was trying to feed the 2 people without there food to be ringing up. Won't be going back. A sorry would of been nice !!
Stopped in here for coffee and wifi which all McDonald's offer. Service was a bit on the slow side as they appeared to be prioritising the drive through!!! Coffee was reasonably good and priced at 99p is very good value Parking: Smallish car park but ok
We went on a super busy evening but all 3 members of staff I spoke to were very friendly with big smiles. Can't remember ever going to such a friendly McDonald's before!
