Use this shop on a daily basis and did before when it was Mccolls. So happy to see the original girls back where they belong. A fabulous set of girls always go above and beyond for everyone! Fab range of products too always clean and tidy. Those girls are amazing so glad to see them back!
Don’t really see what the bad reviews are for tbh. Been in there a few times, got what I needed and left. No issues. Fair enough it is a bit pricey but it is what it is

Few months ago before 3rd lockdown start.... I went to Mccolls after college and I get a drink and a scratch card for myself, one of the staff at counter refuse to get a scratch card for me because she asked me is "Have you got your ID with you?" and she accused me of under 16. Actually I'm 18 and nearly 19 in March not 15. Staffs at Mccolls need to sort themselves out. I'm not getting a scratch card from there anymore since they accuse me of under 16. I'm getting a scratch card from other shop. I'm not recommend this to everyone who is 16 and over and one of staff need to sort out!
Rude and unprofessional staff members some not all. No attempts to reinforce covid health and safety procedures at all. Just witness a group of 4 adults shopping together none of whome were wearing any face covering and just sauntering around.
This shop is useless and the staff are so rude. Every single time I go in for a simple thing there’s always a issue, the staff don’t say hello and they don’t take provisionals as a form of ID. Avoid this shop like the plague, it also smells like the plague the last time I’ve been in.
The staff are absolutely horrible, completely denied their own mistake and blamed me for getting annoyed. I mentiomed about my disability and they proceeded to threaten to ban me from the shop
staff are horrible, dont help with packing with bags and as i was just in there they have staff walking round the shop with no masks on and i also just witnessed one member of staff blow her nose and not sanitize after, absolutely disgusting !!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything is good about this place. O ly downside is its customers smelling of hash.
Ok has good deals but can be expensive
