I would give less stars if I could. It was 9:15 at night and the woman on the till was annoyed I had a too good to go order. She slammed and threw the items on the till and muttered things about me to the other member of staff and just threw the bag at me. I was so shocked I walked out the store without saying anything. I was made to feel unwelcome and unwanted. I will never be going back in there again
The manager of this store needs to learn some customer service skills. Everytime I go in with parcels I’m treated as less than a paying customer. Why be a Yodel drop off when it’s obviously a huge inconvenience for you. I have reported you Kelvin to head office twice now and am also reporting you to Yodel. The rest of the staff are lovely but your attitude and the way you speak to people stinks. Don’t worry this is one ex customer you’ll not have to deal with again.
The shop was extremely hot. And has been for 2 months. No chocolate can be on the shelves. My pasta sauce purchased was off as were the carrots even though they were in date. Such a shame it’s a great shop that supplies a large area. Air con needs addressing otherwise customers will not return. A note for the staff… I feel for you in there, these are not appropriate working conditions.
This store is normally throughout the day really good and friendly staff, however the last few time I’ve been to this shop close to closing time which is 10pm it is always closed 10/15 minutes early! Tonight I went at 9:35pm thinking I know they shut early, needed nappy’s and shock it had closed early again very inconvenient when on the shop and online says 10pm!
I went to this shop yesterday and the girl and lad in there are very ftiendly. I am concerned for them however,, the shop did not look like there was a pandemic with people in and out and coughing. I think a good plan would be for customers to wait outside and the staff get them what they need then put it outside. The staff don't have masks or a shield at the counter to protect them for health and safety reasons.Oak Road motors are serving people from their window.
seems to of lost its personal touch since going over to Morrisons but still handy for odd bits.
I visit this McColl,s regularly, the staff are friendly and helpful.no they don't all wear masks, they DO have protective Shields at point of sale. They all deserve a medal for just staying open for the local community. THANK YOU, from me
Always shut before 10pm on a night yet state's clearly open till 10pm daily
